Well I'm exporting my deck from my ipod to my ipad and it's taking a while. I have a lot of media files I guess.
So I'm going to post a little about the anime I'm watching currently. It was recommended to me - Angel Beats
and Rurouni Kenshi. They're really different but quite good. The former is probably more interesting and
recommended. It's newer, available in 720p, and at 11 episodes (I think) the plot goes fast. But the other
one is great too. There's like 90ish episodes about so it's not unsimilar from watching something like
Inuyasha or Naruto - there's a lot of filler episodes. But the characters are fun and loveable so the filler
episodes aren't turning me off at all. I would say there's probably not as much filler as I got with Naruto
especially at the end of Naruto before Naruto Shippoden started up. That was so frustrating I wanted the plot
to move so much even though again I like all the characters in that series. With Naruto I want to see him kick
butt and achieve his potential and get the respect of everyone etc that it's kind of crazy.
Anyway this entry is more about anime than Japanese. I'll end it saying that I am slowly getting better at
understanding. In class we studied すぎる and I'm hearing it used in the anime/movies I'm watching. Slowly
getting better.

This is a little sad. I like the 5$ (when full price) white board better than the iPad hands down. I learned how
to use the whole eraser when erasing to make that part easier too. Anyway I'm having fun writing the vocab
out with the kanji and okurigana etc.

I finally got my hands on some Japanese rap music. I liked the Phantastischen Vier a lot when I was
studying German and Calle 13 when I was studying Spanish. I didn't have a clue what to get and ended up
getting The 12 Japs and Nomadic Journals 在音. I'm listening to the latter atm. I think I like them
better. They're rapping to a trance music background and it's nice. I haven't listened to the other album in
full yet.

Finally reading up on www.alljapaneseallthetime.com/blog/ . I've known about this site for a while but never
got around to reading it. I'm finding it's a good read for when i'm at work and really not up for studying. It's
described as a blog but it's more a collection of short motivational essays on studying Japanese as opposed
to a journal like this forum. Anyway, it's good and i recommend it.

I also still find the site pretty motivating! It's changed a lot since I was last there. Khaz has got some new ideas. I couldn't figure out what a "MCD" is and I had to google it (Japanesepod101). It looks interesting, but I still like the sentences method.

I'll have to google that too heh.. I'm doing his log chronologically so I'm back on p11 or whatever it is... It's
going pretty quick though, a very good read. I like his sense of humour.

I listen to pandora a lot at work. My channel is the ayumi hamasaki station.... as per AJATT I'm going to now
click the thumbs down to every English languages song it plays... it's rather painful heh. I really like some of
the English language music they pick out on this channel.

This is sort of a random time to say this, since I've been following your log for a few weeks now, but thanks for doing this! I find it really helpful.
