You are on the Germanic team and I will leave you with a question mark as far as the Romance team goes until we see if anyone else studies Galician. I doubt that anyone does though. I don't think I've heard of anyone.

As it's still soon to close the groups, perhaps it would be possible to create one for the less known romantics, so people eager to learn languages such as Aragonese, Piemontese, Bable, Retorromanic, Moldavian dialect (Romanian), Galician, Catalan, Sicilian, Occitan, Corsican or the like can have a common place. They (perhaps we) could be part of the wider Romanic group in case there's not enough people, of course. Probably that'll happen, actually.

I think there are a couple of people on the forum studying Catalan, but I haven't heard of anyone studying any of the others. But as you say, it's still far too early to tell, maybe some will show up.
There are learners of Sicilian and Piedmontese at least.

It is under the log forum, just like this thread, and it is called TAC 2013 Russian team. Since we expect more
people to join us, we are waiting to decide a cool name - but we will :-)

Good morning everyone!
I was engaging in my other favorite hobby: sleep, but I’m back now.

danyal:
You are added to the Germanic team.

fabriciocarraro:
You are on the Russian and the Romance teams.

girlonthewing:
Did you want to be on the Germanic team or the Middle Eastern team or both? I have you tentatively on both right now.

TheGreaterFool:
You are already on the Russian team, but you also mentioned German, French and Hebrew. That would be three more teams and I think that would be a little much to deal with. I won’t stop you if you want all of them, but you might prefer to pick one. Right now I have you down with a question mark on all three of these teams: Germanic, Romance, and Middle Eastern

deadscreen:
Did you want to be on the Middle Eastern team?

At the moment the “Germanic” team is looking more like a German team. The Scandinavian team, which so far looks like a Norwegian team, really should have members if it is to be a solid and viable team, especially since it is lacking in experienced TAC-ers. Otherwise there is still the possibility of these two teams being combined, but we’ll wait and see.

It’s starting to look like we might be able to form a Middle East team, but many of the members are only tentative. I would like to see it gather a few more “definite” members. Here’s what it looks like so far:

Middle East
druckfehler (Persian), JohannaNYC (Arabic), Travis.H (Arabic), girlonthewing? (Arabic), deadscreen? (Arabic), TheGreaterFool? (Hebrew)

Hey Brun Ugle, I may not join the Middle Eastern team if I'm the only person studying Persian. Although there has been some Arabic influence on Persian, they are pretty different languages. I'll see how the team develops, but I guess it might be good if you add a question mark after my name.

Thanks Brun Ugle for all the work you’ve been doing organizing the TAC!

I’d like to sign up, too!

I could use the kind of energy that a TAC team provide. I’ve used the Assimil Experiment to go back into language learning after some months of total language-neglect, and it’s actually working. So I hope that a team TAC too* might help me with consistency and enjoyment of language studying for the upcoming new year.

As the only language I’m studying right now is Russian, is there any chance that I might be put into the very sought-after Russian Team?

*sorry for the alliteration galore!
