I sort of am and Julie also is. And we're both in the Scandinavian team. Maybe it can be renamed to include Dutch? (but not German:P)

Yeah, the former Germanic Team is more German than any other thing, so it's fair. I'd like to be in a Dutch team, but I see no point in creating such a small group. Let's see if we can have four or five companions.

Elftal, hahaha... je weet dat je dan elf mensen nodig hebt eigenlijk, he? Je mag het
woord "team" gewoon gebruiken.
And of course I will be godfather to you Dutch-learners.

Stom woordenboek! Die is de vertaling dat Van Dale heeft me gegeven (als je wel kan zien heb ik veel hulp nodig!). Ja, ik wilde "team" niet gebruiken omdat ik wilde een meer zeg maar "Nederlands woord" gebruiken.
Also thanks for willing to be the godfather Tarvos!
In regards to the agglomeration of Dutch with other languages/teams, I'd much prefer to simply have a Dutch team, like the Polish or Croation teams, whether it be small or not. It is still early days, so let's see how many people we can get by the end of December/mid January. But even if we only end up with 5 people, I'd much rather have 5 dedicated learners of the language all encouraging each other on and helping each other out, than a large team of 15 simply for the sake of being a large team. Quality over quantity I say.

I use yahoo mail. I don't have problems with other emails I get, just the notices from here. I have no idea why. |

Maybe it's not your mail but HTLAL mailing that doesn't support unicode. |

Could be that. I wonder if they could fix that fairly easily. Seems weird, considering...

Speaking of the Scandinavian team - will someone create a team thread there? Now if you merge
Scandinavian with Dutch I am afraid I will have to withdraw as a Godmother - I can give input to Danish and
Swedish, but Dutch is beyond my capabilities :-) Otherwise I have an idea for a team name for the
Scandinavians.; Team Viking. Now if there s anything that identifies the team and which goes with the
annihilation theme it s that. The Vikings were absolutely brilliant at annihilation :-)
