Åååååååh what a fantastic name!!!!!!

Speaking of godmothers - not everyone is excited about this title the way Cristina is :D I think something more neutral would be better. It just feels weird to be called godmother when you're 22 and just starting your first real job:D

Stom woordenboek! Die is de vertaling dat Van Dale heeft me gegeven (als je wel
kan zien heb ik veel hulp nodig!). Ja, ik wilde "team" niet gebruiken omdat ik wilde een
meer zeg maar "Nederlands woord" gebruiken.

Elftal literally comes from elf (=eleven) and tal=amount. Just like tiental, twintigtal,
etc. It came to mean team because in many sports you play 11-a-side, so a football team
is always called an elftal (because you start with eleven on the pitch). Same for hockey.

You cannot use elftal for, say, a tennis team or a skating team or a cycling team. In
that case, you use the word "ploeg"

Um in hockey there are anywhere between 3 and 6 (field) players on the pitch..not 11. O____o

Field(!) hockey, not ice rink hockey. Ice hockey isn't popular in the Netherlands. We
play hockey on artificial grass ;) That is played 11-a-side.

With the sudden rise of the BCMS team, I'd like to join, since I'll be working with the
language(s) anyway.

If it happens to have an exclusive Norwegian team, I'd like to join it for Norwegian because I really need to work hard on it in order to learn to read it asap.

While we're at it: what if I realize I've achieved my goal before the end of the year? Will I be able to kinda report that my TAC has come to an end, or will I still be seen as a deserter?

I don't know how it works in the teams, but as an individual I will have a moving goalpost, so if I manage to reach my goal earlier than expected, then I'll just fix a new goal for myself.

Edit: By the way, here is the link to my log.
