Is there anyone interested in forming a specific group for Mandarin?

I originally put my name down for a Mandarin group, but there didn't appear to be much
interest for it (the Asian group seems to be filling in for it instead).

I don't think anyone else has stepped forward yet and I haven't seen a thread for the
East Asian Team...I say 'go for it' ;)

I think there are enough Mandarin learners to form a separate group, i guess i'll put my name down for a Mandarin group for now. If nothing comes of it i'll just do an individual log again like this year.

The Advanced English Team is now official!
Except for the Russian and the German team, all positions as team captains/leaders are still vacant, so I'd be glad if Serpent, Woodsei, and Cavesa would be accepted by their teams.
As a member of Team East Asian, I totally support Woodsei.
@Crush: It doesn't look like there will be separate teams for Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean this year. Everybody signed up for the united East Asian team.

I'd be delighted to see Serpent at the helm of the Romance team!

Has anyone volunteered for either the French or Spanish team leadership so far? I don't
think so, please correct me if I am wrong. So, I volunteer to lead one team. THe French
one is huge so I suppose there is lesser chance of other volunteers in the Spanish one
(especially considering some teammates are already leading elsewhere or announced being
quite busy during the year)
So, Spanish learners, what do you think? Do you want me? |

Absolutely!

I don't see any reason why Woodsei shouldn't be the East Asian Team leader.
