Although I am not signing up for a TAC this year (no team TAC as I am tired of disappointing team mates and no individual TAC as I am tired of disappointing myself), I am enjoying the annual TAC enthusiasm being shown here, which is of vicarious benefit even for those like me who do not actually sign up. The annual beginning of the TAC year is awesome for flushing out new learning tips, resources and for hearing of learning experiences, which is of benefit for the whole learning community.
Good luck everyone in your language learning goals for this year!

Thank you, guys! I appreciate your support very much, especially Serpent's and PeterMollenburg's.
As it turns out, I might not be able to update the roster in the first posts for a week or so. I'm on vacation in Denmark right now and my laptop doesn't connect with the local WiFi - for whatever reasons. I'll try if my tablet supports formatting links on HTLAL, so I might be able to update the roster anyway.
In the meantime, I ask you to go to the Wikia page if you need to look up the current teams and participants. I apologize for this little inconvenience. I just wanted to let you know that I haven't abandoned this thread.

My TAC 2015 language will be Modern Hebrew. I'll also be studying French, German, Mandarin, Portuguese, and Spanish, though I can't commit to more than one team. I'd love to join Team Rare if they'd have me.
Here's my log. |

I believe "they" will. "They" are quite accommodating.
It will be nice to have a Hebrew learner once again. Join us. Just remember to follow the rules. It won't take much of your time, I promise. |

:) Thank you. The rules are fair. I'll head over and post in the team thread.

Hello there!
I would like to sign up for two teams the German and Italian team.
I'm a beginner in Italian, however, I have studied German for years and I am eager to
improve. :)

Just thinking out loud here and clearly stating the obvious... at this stage it seems like no-one really wants to
captain the French team. We have a lot of beginners, a sprinkling of us in the middle and a sprinkling of
advanced learners. Fingers crossed someone from the advanced end puts their hand up to lead :) Might I
suggest if the task seems too big that 2 or 3 people opt for joint leadership to ease the workload? Just putting
it out there for those that might be considering it but could be hesitating due to the perceived seemingly large
task at hand
