This is my Georgian dialogue challenge . A
real tongue-twisting challenge even for an experienced radio presenter! (Not my case, of
course).

Wow, that sounded great! I love the sound of Georgian now. :-)

Is this the right thread for Hebrew? And, if it is, is there place for me here?

Yes. Welcome. You just need to give me (well, us) the log you'll be using, a starting level and your objective.
An estimation is fine. Please refer to the first page of this thread to see what we (your teammates) have done.

Thanks Luso!
Here we go then.
My log: Renaissancemedi Yürükler/Triomphe/Катюша
No room to add "rare" in the title, I'm afraid.
My goal: A0->A1 or A2
I saw the challenge, but I am afraid I only know two words: Shalom (hi) and ahava (love). As soon as I know more I'll revisit the challenge.
For now, here is the English version:
I am Penelope from Greece. I have always liked the sound of Hebrew, the people and the language. As I also love some hebrew writers, I thought it's about time I learned. The sounds are very close to greek. In fact I will hardly need to adjust my pronunciation, which is odd and great at the same time.
I want to follow assimil, one lesson at a time, establish a weekly (at least) pattern of study and progress without stress and fear.
Happy to see so many languages being studied here.
Nice to be on the team!

Ok, it's done. I also found a nice white-and-blue mediterranean country flag for you, so that you can feel right at home. ;)
In addition, I sent a PM to Iversen, since now there's this "umbrella" thread.
Pity about your log's name. Perhaps you could just make it TK / FR / RU / HE (once I saw someone with 5 or 6 languages who had done that). Or you could ignore me. But it would be nice to have some sort of coherence there. Your choice. I'm glad to have you aboard, anyway.
