გუშინწინ ამერიკული დღესასწაული „Thanksgiving“ იყო. ამ დღეს ბევრი ვჭამოთ. ზოგი
ტრადიციული კერძები არის: ინდაური, კარტოფილი, სიმინდი, სტაფილო, და გოგრის ღვეზელი. სხვა კერძები არის, მაგრამ ძაან რთულია ქართულ ენაზე თარგმანი, იმიტომ რომ ეს საჭმელი არა აქვთ საქართველოში! მაგალითად, "squash" არ ვიცი როგორ არის ქართულად. და cranberry–ს ვერც ვთარგმნი. ეგებ „მოცვი“? ინდაურს მოცვის სოუსით ვჭამოთ. უცნაური ალბათ ჩანს, მაგრამ მართლა ძაან გემრიელია. My internet wasn't working last night so I couldn't update, but yesterday I studied
from Gruzinskii yazyk s mamoi. It's cute! I learned about waking up, getting dressed, eating breakfast, and bathroom stuff. I don't know when I'm ever going to need to say "Look how much you pooped!" in Georgian, but hey, you never know! But I actually think I am learning more Russian from this book than Georgian, which is fine! Perfect actually, since I want to learn both to a similar level and my Georgian is better than my Russian at this point. :) *By the way, in case you're just dying to know (and I'm sure you are), "look how much you pooped" in Georgian = Ra kargad gaxvedi kuchshi (რა კარგად გახვედი კუჭში). I just figured out what პირდაპირ ეთერში means ("live", as in tv shows). I always saw it

As you can see, I'm finally going through chapter 10 of Aronson, the one about this perfect series I keep hearing so much about. ;) It's a lot to take in. I think I'm going to read this chapter many times...I don't understand why he decided to explain all the conjugations before he even explains how/when they are used. What's the point of knowing how to conjugate a verb when you won't even know when to use it? But it's no big deal, I just have to jump around a little bit. I'm glad I'm finally on this chapter. I've been seeing these kinds of conjugations a lot lately and have had no idea what they mean. Edit: I finished the chapter (except for the exercises, which I'll do later). It's very confusing how he mixes the present perfect and the pluperfect in the same chapter. It would be better if they each had their own chapter or if they at least were separated.
