Oh my god, I was just listening to a Georgian radio station called Radio One, and this
guy started talking in Georgian with the most hilarious American accent I've ever heard! It was so weird. I wish I could convey in writing how it sounded! All I remember is "ორმოცდაოთკი". I've heard someone speak Georgian with an American accent before (besides myself, haha), but it didn't sound nearly as weird as this. I don't understand why they had him on there anyway...I think it's because it was like an American jazz segment or something. დღეს ქართულ მიუზიკლს "ვერის უბნის მელოდიები" ვუყურე. ორიგინალური ვერსია იყო ფილმი,
მაგრამ თანამედროვე ვერსიაა სპექტაკლი. ძალიან მიყვარს ეგ მიუზიკლიდან სიმღერა "ეგრე ავად რად მიყურებ მთვარეო." ძაან ლამაზი მიუზიკლი იყო! Update: I am listening to the radio and there's this lady talking really, really slow. It's almost like she is purposely reading for people who are learning the language. I finally finished chapter 12 in Aronson (except for the exercises). This chapter is so
useful, but there's no way I'll remember most of it. So I will definitely be referring back to it a lot. Also, it must be English Day today in Georgia or something, because all the music I've been able to find on the radio is in English... Edit: I just found some really funny Georgian rap. The guy talks like he has a cold (and somehow sounds kind of like Joey Ramone, except really annoying) and he said "შენ სექს ბომბა ხარ" or something hilarious like that. Anyway, I noticed something about some of these radio stations. Sometimes they play many different types of music on the same station. For example, a couple days ago I found some quiet, relaxing music because I wanted to go to sleep, and then they started playing death metal, and then went right back to quiet music. What's up with that? And just now they played traditional Georgian music, and then the rap, and then some Russian pop, and then some choral church sounding music, and then more rap, and now jazz. I don't get it... Update: Now they are playing a sort of rock/techno/psychedelic remix of a reggae song. I think they are on a quest to become the most random radio station on Earth. I feel like I'm posting here way too much lately, but I'm on a real Georgian kick!
Anyway, I have a question about this sentence: "ნაცრისფერი და რუხი ერთი ფერის ორი ტონია: ნაცრისფერი ღიაა, რუხი კი უფრო მუქია." It means that ნაცრისფერი and რუხი ფერი are two tones of the same colour. ნაცრისფერი
