Hi everyone, I'm still here. I'm just going through a lot of family issues right now, and
none of them is pretty. My study has been non-existent, in ANY language, after Tadoku,
but I finally managed to get back in the game and do a little something everyday. I'll
have to update my log, obviously, and get around to checking my team members logs and
threads, so there's a mammoth job still to be done! But I'm super-motivated, and really
looking forward to getting back in touch with you guys!

Can I join? I've been kind of doing similar by myself since the Christmas holidays. At
the moment I'm trying to bust through RTK and verbs. I attend standard beginner classes
using Japanese For busy people 1, they are kind of slow moving hence the excessive self
study urge. I've also begun jpod101 and genki, just a few minutes each day to keep things
moving.
I finished the final 4 exams today (without falling behind on my 40days of rtk challenge)
so I can focus even more on totally killing it.

Sure. Make a log and include TAC2013 and the team name (Sakura) in the title somewhere.

Don't worry. I've added your link to the first page here and on the main thread. The reason you can't make links is that you're still a newbie. It is a privilege that comes with time.

Teammates, this has been weighing on my mind for a long time, and I think the time is
right to share my feelings with you.
I am very sorry....
...for not posting much on my teammate's logs. What an idiot I am.
Well, maybe not an idiot... right? What, silence? C'mon, what kind of teammates are
you?!?
Seriously, I've neglected my duties as a Sakur-omrade. It's no excuse, but lately I've
been trying to get things straightened out with my own language studies. I've
overwhelmed myself with all of these ideas about what I should study, how I should
study, when I should study... when all I need to do is just study. I've spent so much
time searching about the "best" study methods for me that it has cut into my study
time.
I've also put pressure on myself that I need to be at so-and-so level of Japanese in
so-and-so years, and that has proven to be a bad thing. I study better with no
pressure, so I've been working on just relaxing, finding a nice, relatively carefree
study routine, and getting to work. I think I'm on the right path now.
Anyway, I'm sorry, and I will get back to reading your logs, as well as posting on
mine!
See ya.
