¡Gracias por el cumplido! Espero que mi español siga mejorando, porque algún día quisiera alcanzar un nivel muy avanzado, casi nativo. UPDATE I have been studying, but I was just hit with a wave of business so I might not have time to update until Friday. At last I have found time for a study update!
POLISH 30 minutes of flashcard review No comment. I was very busy this week; next week I will make a greater effort to find time for Polish! ITALIAN 1 hour I spent this time studying Chapter 1 of Ultimate Italian, adding the vocabulary to Anki, and reviewing this vocabulary. I also started Chapter 2. LATIN 5 hours 5 minutes - 1 hour 20 minutes of flashcard review - 20 minutes of Wheelock's Chapter 38 - 1 hour 20 minutes of translating a passage from St. Jerome's "Ad Eustochium" - 30 minutes of studying the concepts in Unit 21 of Collins - 10 minutes of vocabulary acquisition - 1 hour 25 minutes or miscellaneous study and translation Most of this is self-explanatory. "Miscellaneous study" means looking up literary terms (zeugma, litotes, etc.) and doing some work connected with my Latin class. I often don't count my Latin assignments and classes as study time, since my class is pretty much useless, but I was actually assigned some good things this week. I also spent quite a bit of time tutoring, but I did not count that. SPANISH 8 hours 25 minutes - 1 hour 43 minutes of flashcard review - 1 hour 32 minutes of listening comprehension - 50 minutes of grammar - 3 hours 20 minutes of reading - 1 hour of vocabulary acquisition Flashcard Count: 4,607 cards Author of the Week: Julio Cortázar My listening comprehension consisted in listening to Notes in Spanish podcasts, watching BBC Noticias, listening to VeinteMundos articles, and watching live coverage on a new Nicaraguan news site I found. The link is here. I have decided to have one grammar day a week so that I will finish all the exercises in my Practice Makes Perfect books. This week I was reviewing "por" and "para" - I think I understand the distinction pretty well. Julio Cortázar was my author of the week, but since I am still reading La Emperatriz de los Etéreos I only read one of Cortázar's short stories: "La Noche Boca Arriba". It was very interesting, but very strange. So far all the short stories I have read are rather odd. EDIT: I forgot to mention that I moved over 300 words from my main Spanish Anki deck to my sentences deck, which explains the decrease in my flashcard count. Before I never had a sentences deck so there were a lot of sentences, phrases, etc. in my vocabulary deck. Hej!
Podrzucam kilka poprawek do Twojego postu z 31 grudnia. Zawsze mi towarzyszy gdy piszę lub mówię w języku obcym. Drobiazg, ale w j. polskim należy stawiać przecinek przed "gdy" (w większości sytuacji przecinek musi oddzielać zdanie główne od zdania pobocznego). Akurat myślałam, że... W tym kontekście "akurat" mi nie brzmi, lepiej: "Myślałam właśnie, że...". Gubię się w czasownikach z takimi przyimkami dodanymi na przedzie. W wyrazie "przód" nie ma przegłosu na "e" (na przodzie). A tutaj w ogóle napisałabym "z przodu". Aaaa, i fachowo te "przyimki" to "prefiksy" albo "przedrostki" (oba pojęcia są po polsku poprawne). Też miewam problemy z czasownikami - to jeden z moich słabych punktów w języku niemieckim. Używam aktywnie znacznie mniej czasowników, niż znam pasywnie.
Zastanawiałam się nad tym i nie byłam pewna, dlatego też w poprawionej wersji użyłam innych konstrukcji :). Nie brzmi to jakoś błędnie, ale sama bym tak nie powiedziała. Mogłabym natomiast powiedzieć: "to zdanie zupełnie mi nie wyszło". Dziękuję za linki hiszpańskie, zwłaszcza veintemundos.com wygląda bardzo ciekawie! Nawet trochę wkurzona jestem, że sobie obiecałam, że nie będę w ciągu najbliższych kilku miesięcy zabierać się za odświeżanie hiszpańskiego. (Ale nie mogłam się powstrzymać przed przeczytaniem Twojego wpisu po hiszpańsku :)). 2 persons have voted this message useful | |||

@Gosiak, dziękuję za dalsze wyjaśnienia - teraz wszystko jest jasne! :)
@Julie, dziękuję za pomoc! :) Naprawdę muszę nauczyć się podstawowych reguł interpunkcji w języku polskim, ponieważ popełniam wiele błędów w tym względzie. Odnośnie czasowników - czytając po polsku często spotykam się z czasownikami, które rozumiem ale których nie mogłbym użyć w zdaniu. Mam nadzieję, że to zmieni się z czasem. Cieszę się, że moje linki będą Ci użyteczne! Hiszpański to wspaniały język i mam nadzieję, że wkrótce będziesz miała szansę do niego powrócić! :) UPDATE I just wanted to note the studying I did on Saturday: 30 minutes of Spanish flashcard review and 1 hour of Polish vocabulary review. I also added some Spanish flashcards at some point - indispensable words such as cerrajero (locksmith), mirilla (peephole), and proyectil (projectile). ; ) Edit: I changed the word "punktuacja" to "interpunkcja", which is what I meant - "punktuacja" isn't even a word, which I realized late last night when I was trying to fall asleep. wiele błędów w tym względzie Lepiej: wiele tego rodzaju błędów, wiele takich błędów. spotykam się z czasownikami, które rozumiem ale których... To mam zasadę odnoszącą się do interpunkcji właśnie :): przed "ale" stawia się przecinek. nie mogłbym użyć w zdaniu To chyba literówka, ale na wszelki wypadek: nie mogłabym (kobieta), nie mógłbym (mężczyzna). A w tym kontekście lepiej: nie umiałabym go użyć w zdaniu. moje linki będą Ci użyteczne Najbardziej chyba naturalne sformułowanie to: "Cieszę się, że moje linki Ci się przydadzą". Przymiotnik "użyteczny" jest dość rzadki - sprawdzałam w słowniku języka polskiego i jest oznaczony jako "książkowy". Gdybyś chciała go użyć, zdanie musiałoby brzmieć "moje linki będą dla Ciebie użyteczne". Gratuluję refleksu i autokorekty wyrazu "interpunkcja" :))) - czytałam Twój post wczoraj w nocy, ale nie miałam czasu go od razu poprawić :). 2 persons have voted this message useful |
