It is all right, but you wouldn't use it in a more formal environment. It has more or
less the same function as the English sentence.

So, I just read today's Colloquial lesson while at the bus, which means I saved up time. Maybe there will be time for another Viking challenge later.

I still have a long way to go in terms of vocabulary. I took a look at a fairy tale I have bookmarked at home and I could barely understand a sentence.

I'm halfway through Colloquial Norwegian (lesson 10). They stopped giving translations to dialogues as they had done with texts. I'm glad that I understand those texts without any problem, only having to look up a couple of words for a whole 4-paragraphs long text. My main problem is still vocabulary and I'm working on it, as I'm currently studying 3 Anki decks on Norwegian.

Why do you use three anki decks?

It just happened that way. I don't build my own decks, I pick shared ones.

One of them has norwegian sentences with audio.
The other two are TY Norwegian's vocabulary and Assimil vocabulary.

lydord.

I think I'd rather keep the three decks separate, as I want to finish the two book-related decks soon and remain with the longer one with sentences. As for building my own decks, I'm not very much fond of it, though it's indeed a good idea to start doing so when I start reading books, because whichever words I find then will be important ones which I won't have met in textbooks.

I am reading a chapter on transport by train. I know we have a specialist here =D

I was wondering...7h between Oslo and Bergen by car seems a fair time, but why does it take on average the same by train? How do people usually go from Bergen to Osoo, by train or by plane?
