Wow, We seem to be gaining momentum here :-)
@ Ruskivetr and @lynxrunner, I have already welcomed you in the Russian thread. @Isabliss 27, you are
most welcome too. It will be nice to have another one on the team who is still at the early stage of learning
Russian, and the fact that most of us plan to focus also on German should make you fit right it. As for
Swedish and Norwegian, I assume that you have seen that there are two Swedes and a Norwegian on the
team :-)
Oh and @ Ruskivetr do not forget my offer to help you out with Norwegian materials. The offer still stands.

Although I started off strongly enough for the TAC 2011, I hit a long slump in the middle, and didn't rally till the
August Six Week Challenge and the Tadoku Reading Challenge. I also recently used the November 6WC to start
(or restart) Mandarin.
It really did make a difference, having that bit of competition to spur one on. And, over the course of the year,
I've learned a lot from, and been inspired by, other forum members' logs. So I'd like to try again for the TAC
2012, but joining a team this time.
I'd very much like to continue working on my French, having really enjoyed my fledgeling efforts at reading
French fiction. Again hoping to get my up to a solid B1 level overall.
And, having begun Mandarin for the recent 6WC, I'd like to continue with it, but in a much more minor key:
perhaps spending just 10% of my language-learning time on it.
- Am thinking of going to Italy for a vacation later in the year, so if I do, will also try to learn some
Italian, perhaps up to just the A1 level.
garyb, might there still be room in the Romance languages team?

Though I'm not garyb, I'm positive I could say that we might find some space to squeeze you in. ;-)
Your languages will be French, Mandarin and perhaps Italian, right?

I've changed my mind again:)
I'll study more than one language at TAC 2012, maybe English will be my main interest along side with German and Greek
and If I found a time, I'll add Swedish and French
My Goal for English will be Basic Fluency
while for the others languages will be at least (intermediate/ upper intermediate)

I'll sign up for TAC 2012. The same as the past two years, I'll be studying Korean and Japanese. If there is an East Asian team, I wouldn't mind joining that team.

Any room in the Romantics Team? I'll be studying French the first half of the year, then Spanish the second. Hoping to move from Strong beginner to Independent speaker in both.
I'm also looking to do some quick intros to Italian and Catala.
(and I'll also continue with Arabic, but I don't want to do that as a TAC)
I've never TAC'd before ... it sounds fun!

@kanewai: I don't think there's really a limit to the team sizes, so I'm sure you can join the Romantics team. Post a reply here to get added to our team list. I'm happy to have other French learners joining up! :)
