For which of your many L2's are you planning on doing this challenge if you go through with it? It must be

My decision was quite obvious since there are almost no materials for Slovene and Macedonian, my Chinese oscillates around 100-150 words and I have very poor knowledge of past, future and subjunctive tenses in Italian and (especially!) in French (although I would have an advantage of about 30-40 French paper books in my room - the effect of liquidation a huge amount of books from philological libraries at my uni due to... well, some unfavorable decisions). So I've chosen Half Challenges for Czech & Russian and Film Half Challenge for Bulgarian. To be honest, I've spent much more time with Italian, but if it comes to Russian I have an ace up my sleeve in form of being native Polish speaker, but even more - my B1 in Bulgarian. In some cases I feel like I'm learning Bulgarian dialect ;)
I've even thought about the Supa Dupa Challenge for Bulgarian, but in this lack of realism I'm a bit realistic.

Yeah, just the special one, with 6 cases ;)
Of course it was a metaphor. But well, there is something in this - Russian has borrowed lots of words from Old Church Slavonic
(on the other hand, later modern Bulgarian re-borrowed some of them from Russian ;) )

Just a quick question here... For the writing part of the challenge, can copying text out by hand also count (e.g. Scriptorium)?

Of course it can. Many would want to produce texts of their own, but particularly in the beginning where
anything you write yourself would be ultra short and full of mistakes, it is perfectly all right to copy another
text.

Would you consider watching the films during Bulgarian classes as cheating? If not, then I've started watching my first Bulgarian movie for challenge!

That is definitely not cheating!!
Otherwise I would ask you all to be patient with me. I update everything as fast as I can, but being in the middle of the 6WC, a Super Challenge and an Advanced Super Challenge and administering the Super Challenge takes a bit of time, so I ask for your comprehension and forgiveness if I do not make the updates as fast as you would have liked me to :-)
