Even if you’ll certainly have more interesting things to do once you’re there than keeping up with the forum, don’t abandon us for the next two months, ok? ;-)
I hope you’ll have a great time in Luxembourg. Trevlig resa!

Well done Nicole. You know a lot after less than a year of studies. I hope you don't mind my correcting it? I've put the changes in bold:
A couple of comments: "gå" means "to walk (on foot)", so the English "go" should be translated with "dra" eller "reise".
"Garantert" isn't totally wrong, but sounds a bit strange to me. I therefore wrote "bestemt" - "decided".
"Spent på" also sounds strange her. "Være spent på" normally implies that you are wondering (excitedely) about the outcome of something, e.g. "Jeg er spent på om Regjeringen vinner valget" (I wonder if the Government will win the elections). I therefore chose "ha lyst til" (to care to, to want to do). |

No, I don't mind at all. I appreciate any help I get from others, especially if it comes with compliments. ;) Thank you for the correction and the explanations! :)

This is my challenge dialogue recorded.
Don't be so mean, it's the first time I speak Norwegian ever since i resumed learning it
in August 2012! I know I have to work on r's which sound too strong, and my a's are also
too openly latin.

Ok, as people put in audio recordings here, why not do the same:

sorry for the bad quality, used the internal mic of my laptop
edit: I originally wrote 'nå' instead of 'nu' and that's what I read in the recording.
The influence of watching several hours of Norwegian TV I guess.

Impressive, both of you! It actually sounded like Danish! The day I have the guts to do something similar...

Very good Expug, I will not be mean at all. It is easy to understand what you say. If I should give a piece of advice, it would be to work on the pronunciation of the vowels. You sometimes make them to closed, especially the "a", the "o" and the "e". For instance, in the word "georgisk", you should pronounce both the "e" and the "o" clearly and separately.

Thank you Ogrim, I bet you mean the short vowels. Now I realize
what you mean. In Portuguese we contrast heavily open and closed e's and o's, but the
Norwegian ones seem more open than close.
