Welcome to the team, victoraero!
Let us know where we can find your log so we can follow your progress, cheer for your successes and encourage you when you hit a plateau.
Will you start a brand new log for Norwegian or will you continue one you have already been keeping? Let me know, so I’ll add a link in the team roster: your name is already there ;-)
Don’t worry about it being your first TAC and feeling a little lost! The whole point of the TAC is to do your best learning your target language while offering and receiving encouragement and advice from your teammates. Basically, that’s all there is to it and as you can see it’s nothing too demanding especially now that the new year frenzy is over and most people update their logs more sporadically.
If you feel like it, there are the monthly challenges to do, but they are facultative so it’s really up to you whether you want to take part in them.
All you have to do now is start posting your progresses in your log and start following your teammates’ logs. I guess that’s it for now.
Lycka till!

Thanks Emme!
I've just opened a new log (http://how-to-learn-any-language.com/forum/forum_posts.asp? TID=38352&PN=1), time to study!
Good studies for everyone!

Welcome to the team victoraero!
Your link doesn't seem to be working though, there's a space between ? and TID

Don’t worry about the space in the link, victoraero and sarnek: it’s a common bug here in the forum or maybe it’s an antispam system.
Usually a direct link overcomes the problem.

March Challenge
The translation is rather pedestrian, but I hope it gets the meaning of the lyrics across.
Cecilia Vennersten - Det Vackraste
Det vackraste jag vet
Är att se dig när du sover
Här råder stilla frid
Och jag glömmer både rum och tid
Du ligger här bredvid
Och jag känner hur du andas
Att älskas utav dig
Är det vackraste för mig
Så sagolikt det är
Att se morgondimman lätta
När mörkret sakta flyr
Och att se hur dagen åter gryr
En kylig morgonbris
Sakta sveper genom rummet
Jag kryper tätt intill
Lycklig för att du finns till
Stunder av stillhet
Ett ögonblick av ro ibland
Stunder av lycka
Att bara ha varann
Det är en rikedom
Att få älska och att älskas
Vår kärleks varsamhet
Är det vackraste jag vet
Det vackraste som finns
Är att vara någon nära
När månen lyser klart
Över skog och mark så underbart
Du ligger här bredvid
Och jag känner hur du andas
Att älskas utav dig
Är det vackraste för mig
Stunder av stillhet
Ett ögonblick av ro ibland
Stunder av lycka
Att bara ha varann
Det är en rikedom
Att få älska och att älskas
Vår kärleks sårbarhet
Är det vackraste jag vet
Du ligger här bredvid
Och jag känner hur du andas
Att älskas utav dig
Är det vackraste för mig

The most beautiful thing I know
Is to watch you when you're sleeping
Here reigns quiet peace
And I forget both space and time
You're lying here beside me
And can I feel your breathing (how you’re breathing)
To be loved by you
Is the most beautiful thing for me
It’s so fantastic
To see the morning mist lift
When darkness gently flees
And to see [a new] day dawn once again (how the day dawns again)
A cool morning breeze
Gently sweeps through the room
I crawl closer [to you]
Happy that you exist
Moments of calm
A moment of peace once in a while
Moments of happiness
To just have each other
It is [such] a treasure
To get to love and be loved
Our love’s prudence
Is the most beautiful thing I know
The most beautiful thing there is
Is to be close
When the moon is shining brightly
Over the countryside (woodland and ground), so wonderfully
You're lying here beside me
And can I feel your breathing
To be loved by you
Is the most beautiful thing for me
Moments of calm
A moment of peace once in a while
Moments of happiness
To just have each other
It is [such] a treasure
To get to love and be loved
Our love’s vulnerability
Is the most beautiful thing I know
You're lying here beside me
And can I feel your breathing
To be loved by you
Is the most beautiful thing for me
EDIT: as always, corrections and suggestions for improvement are welcome!

I had some trouble with this challenge because there are so many Norwegian songs I love. In the end I chose Egentlig en danser from Kari Bremnes. Most of the other songs had so much dialect in them that I didn't know how I should write the text correctly.
Jeg hadde været ute,
jeg var full av vin og prat.
Jeg var moden for en taxi
jeg har alltid været lat.
Det var ingen bil ledig
alle taklyser var sløkt
Sikkert snakka litt for mye
sikkert flira litt for høyt.
Jeg gikk mot St. Hanshaugen
det var ikke langt å gå.
Det var nye støveletta
de var akkurat for små.
Jeg fikk stansa en Mercedes
jeg var glad og lealaus.
Jeg var åpen for å skravle
men sjåføren min var taus.
Det ble nesten litt for stille
så jeg nynna på en låt.
Jeg så plutselig i speilet
at sjåføren satt og gråt.
Vi var kommen dit jeg bodde
og historia er sann.
Her begynnte han å snakke:
"Er du sanger", spurte han.
"Jeg er egentlig en danser
men jeg danser ikke mer.
Jeg kan ikke lenger danse uten ho.
Vi var ett og samme trinn
samme hjerte, samme kinn.
Når vi dansa var vi én
og ikke to."
----------------------------------
I had been out,
I was full of wine and chat.
I was ready for a taxi
I've always been late.
There was no taxi free
all the taxi lights were out.
Certainly (I) talked too much
certainly (I) laughed too loud.
I walked towards St. Hanshaugen
it wasn't long to go.
There were new bootees
they were just a bit too small.
I managed to stop a Mercedes
I was happy and shaky (?).
I was open for a chat
but my driver was tacit.
It was nearly a bit too silent
so I hummed a melody.
Suddenly I saw in the mirror
that the driver (sat and) cried.
We had arrived (at the place) where I lived
and the story is true.
There he started to speak:
"Are you a singer", he asked.
"I am actually a dancer
but I don't dance any more.
I can't dance without her any more.
We were on the same level,
same heart, same chin.
When we danced we were as one
and not as two."

March Challenge
Not my favourite song but quite catchy and easy to sing along to.
I taxin, i trappen, i hissen, i hallen
Jag faller
Faller
I taxin, i trappen, i hissen, i hallen
Jag faller
Faller
Oooooooh
Jag tror att jag faller, jag faller
Jag faller
Jag faller
I taxin, i trappen, i hissen, i hallen
Jag faller
Faller
I taxin, i trappen, i hissen, i hallen
Jag faller
Faller
Jag kommer, baby, jag tror jag är kär
I taxin, i trappen, i hissen, i hallen
Jag faller
Faller

The night is young and I'm lying awake
I am "Lucy in the sky", I'm high above the clouds
Yeah, I know she's cute, but hold back
Cause I have fallen there, I have fallen, I've woken up
Yeah, I know she's cute, but hold back
Cause,
I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming - I'm almost there
I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming now
You, hold out
You know that
I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming
Baby, I think I'm in love
With the taxi, the stairs, the elevator, the hall
I'm falling
Falling
You and me now
Please wait, wait, stay
Ten thousand meters up in the air I see everything so clear
I know she's cute, but it must be you and me
You and me
Cause,
I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming - I'm almost there
I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming now
You, hold out
You know that
I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming
Baby, I think I'm in love
With the taxi, the stairs, the elevator, the hall
I'm falling
Falling
Oooooooh
I'm think I'm falling, I'm falling
I'm falling
I'm falling
In the taxi, the stairs, the elevator, the hall
I'm falling
Falling
(I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming)
(I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming)
(I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming)
You, hold out
You know that
I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming
Baby, I think I'm in love
In the taxi, the stairs, the elevator, the hall
I'm falling
Falling
I'm coming, baby, I think I'm in love
In the taxi, the stairs, the elevator, the hall

Falling

As far as I can tell, this is the Danish equivalent of "Happy Birthday".
I dag er det Oles fødselsdag
I dag er det Oles fødselsdag!
Hurra! Hurra! Hurra!
Han sikkert sig en gave får
som han har ønsket sig i år
og dejlig chokolade med kage til.
Hvor smiler han, hvor er han glad
Hurra! Hurra! Hurra!
Men denne dag er også rar,
for hjemme venter mor og far
med dejlig chokolade med kage til.
Og når han hjem fra skolen går,
Hurra! Hurra! Hurra!
Så skal han hjem og holde fest,
og hvem der kommer med som gæst,
får dejlig chokolade med kage til.
Til slut vi råber højt i kor.
Hurra! Hurra! Hurra!
Gid Ole længe leve må
og sine ønsker opfyldt få -
og dejlig chokolade med kage til.

Today is (insert name)'s birthday
Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah!
He's sure to get a gift
He's wanted for years
And some delightful chocolate and cake, too
He's really smiling, he sure is happy
Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah!
This is also a big day
Because Mom and Dad (or significant other(s)) are waiting at home
With some delightful chocolate and cake, too
And when he goes home from school (or work or what have you)
He'll have a party
Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah!
And the guests that come
Will get some delightful chocolate and cake, too
At the end we'll all give a rousing cheer
Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah!
Long live (insert name)
And may he get his wish
And some delightful chocolate and cake, too
