Can I just say that your team name is just awesome! I spent the beginning of my Christmas vacation
watching Thor 1 and Thor 2 and the Avengers so I think you found a great name :-)

I agree with keeping Asgard in the team thread title and allowing people to choose which spelling they prefer, based on which language(s) they're learning.
Here's my new log: http://how-to-learn-any-language.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?T ID=37725&PN=1&TPN=1
Happy New Year!

I really liked those films! I watched them a while ago and was actually planning to re-watch them soon, this time with either German or Swedish subs :)

Can you guys suggest some rather long-running (20h+) TV series in Swedish?

As far as I know, most Swedish TV series tend to be on the short side (6 to 12 one-hour episodes are the norm).
Some series that lasted longer are:
Rederiet (soap opera: 318 episodes)
Andra Avenyn (soap opera: 185 episodes)
Varuhuset (60 episodes)
Skeppsholmen (52 episodes)
Hem till byn (52 episodes)
I don’t vouch for the quality of these programmes, though, as I’ve never seen them. And I have no idea whether you can find them online (legally or otherwise) or on DVDs.

Thanks guys, I'll check that out. Especially Solsidan looks promising, even though it's
a bit short too.
I just saw that a new Danish series began running on DR1 (and online):
Arvingerne. 10 episodes, 55 minutes each.
Optional Danish subtitles are available. The first episode will be available until
January 31st.

Thanks for the tip. You don't happen to know how to activate the subtitles, do you?
