I battled quite a bit with the Danish. The Norwegian was pretty friendly, and the Swedish so easy that I took the liberty of making a translation that also fits the meter (so it could be sung to the same music). Anyway, I've done a fair bit of singing along to all three of these, too.
DANSK
I Danmark er jeg født (In Denmark I was born)
Verden, den er stor
The world, it's big
Mærk dig mine ord
Mark my words
Jeg trives hvor jeg bor
I thrive where I live
But I miss Sudan and the red earth
Min far, min søster og min bror, yeah
My father, my sister, and my brother, yeah
For Verden den er stor
For the world is big¹
Mærk dig mine ord
Mark my words
Jeg savner min mor
I miss my mother
When I follow my heart, where the four winds blow²
And where the music lives in each and every word, yeah
I Danmark er jeg født
In Denmark I was born
Der har jeg hjemme
I have a home there
Der har jeg rod, og
I have roots there, and
Derfra min verden går
That's where my world comes from
Men jeg tøver år efter år
But I stick around year after year
Can't see the whole wide world here
I'm gonna grow old, beat me down and build my farm, yeah
Skal jeg blive hos min mor
Shall I stay in my mother's house
And the hard winters in the cold North
Or shall I look to the South where tropical rhythms play
Hjælp mig Odin og Thor!
Help me Odin and Thor!
Verden, den er stor
The world, it's big
Mærk dig mine ord
Mark my words
Jeg trives hvor jeg bor
I thrive where I live
But I miss Sudan and the read earth
Min far, min søster og min bror, yeah
My father, my sister, and my brother, yeah
For Verden den er stor
For the world is big
Mærk dig mine ord
Mark my words
Jeg savner min mor
I miss my mother
When I follow my heart, where the four winds blow
And where the music lives in each and every word, yeah
I travel away again, and lessen my sadness
Fuld galop i den varme ørkenvind
Full gallop in the warm desert wind
The horse is named and bought by Bin Laden³
Jeg vinder løbet som den første kvinde,
I win the race as the first woman
Og Sudan er over ende... Ingen sinde
And Sudan is over and ended... Never
Have I felt so loved and at so home
The family and the many smiles makes me forget
Det danske sprog er min moders stemm'
That Danish is my mother tongue
Kalder på mig inden længe
It calls to me before long
Med et suk, pudser jeg min vinge
With a sigh, I polish my wings
For at vende næsen stik nord igen
In order to next go North again
Men noget inden i mig trækker mod Caribien
But something inside of me pulls me to the Carribean
Der er en melodi
There is a melody
So simple and so free, I sing along, for it has set itself inside of me
Verden, den er stor
The world, it's big
Mærk dig mine ord
Mark my words
Jeg trives hvor jeg bor
I thrive where I live
But I miss Sudan and the read earth
Min far, min søster og min bror, yeah
My father, my sister, and my brother, yeah

For the world is big

And where the music lives in each and every word, yeah
Danmark du fryser nu
Denmark, you're freezing now
Mennesker de gyser nu
People they shudder now
Lang er din vinter
Long is your winter
Jeg nynner den om hyacinter, men
I hum it for hyacinths*
Jeg ved at solen er væk igen
I know that the sun is away again
And I shall long to find it
So I can shelter in my music, and I take paper and pen, yeah
Jeg skriver sange om blandet blod
I write songs about mixed blood
About the storm that rages in my head
About picking and choosing, about being, about showing courage, overflowing
Verden, den er stor
The world, it's big
Mærk dig mine ord
Mark my words
Jeg trives hvor jeg bor
I thrive where I live
But I miss Sudan and the read earth
Min far, min søster og min bror, yeah
My father, my sister, and my brother, yeah

For the world is big

I miss my mother
When I follow my heart, where the four winds blow
And where the music lives in each and every word, yeah
I will always be be called "That little darkie there"
"Er du adopteret?"
Are you adopted?
"Kommer du fra Indien?"
Are you from India?
"Har du en far?"
Have you a father?
"Hvor kommer du fra?"
Where are you from?
And I must answer "Iceland Quay, it's so obvious"⁴
But there'll always be a Tom, Dick, and Harry⁵
That take me for stupid and ugly and should be sent home
Men fuсk nu dem, for jeg ved at hele verden er mit hjem
But fuсk them now, because I know that the whole world is my home
Kom igen!
Come again!
I Sudan har jeg kærlighed og slægt
In Sudan I have fondness and roots
But lack a career and shall not marry off
Jamaica har min karriere i tjek
Jamaica has my career in check
There's a rush and there's a backup when I flex lyrics⁶
Watcha, yo that little white girl deh can sing

Bombocloth yo little white girl eah go be

Where deh white girl come from

I'm driving the blob when I talk like them⁷
Jeg hører mine sange styrer Irie FM
I hear my songs dominate Irie FM
And even they can like me, and they love my voice
I'm still such a whitey and smack of foreign money
Jeg prøver lykken år efter år
I try my luck year after year
And I know exactly where I stand
I Sudan er jeg en blegfis
In Sudan I'm a cracker⁸
Og i Danmark det Sorte Får.
And in Denmark the black sheep.
Mæhhh
Baaaa
¹ Lyrics I found listed online gave "får", but it has been brought to my attention that "for" would make much more sense here.
² Lit: where the peppers grow - I presume an idiom equivalent to the one I put in the English
³ Perhaps an idiomatic meaning I'm missing here, but the literal translation was all I could muster
⁴ This is a place in central Copenhagen
⁵ English equivalent of for example the German "Müller und Schulze". I don't know if this was a set Danish equivalent here, but the feeling is clearly the same.
⁶ I'm struggling with the music-speak here
⁷ I can only guess at what this means idiomatically. "Slumming it", perhaps? Or actually a positive meaning?
⁸ As per http://ordnet.dk/ddo/ordbog?query=blegfis

Hun er forelska i lær'n (She's in love with the teacher)
Hun sitter foran meg på første rad
She sits in front of me in the first row
Hun har blåe øyne, er bestandig glad
She has blue eyes; she's always smiling¹
I'm in love, but I'm getting nowhere²
Jeg sender lapper, men jeg få'kke noen svar,
I send her notes, but I don't get no reply³
She thinks that I'm not enough of a man⁴
Hun er forelska, men.. Det er ikke i meg
She's in love, but it's not with me
Hun er forelska i lærer'n oh-oh-oh
She's in love with the teacher
Forelska i lærer'n oh-oh-oh
In love with the teacher
Hun er forelska i lærer'n
She's in love with the teacher
Og ikke i meg.
And not with me
Lærer'n vår er tjue år
Our teacher's twenty (really, one can be a teacher at 20 in Norway?)
Han har kraftig kropp og halvlangt hår
He has a strong body and a mullet⁵
Han er hele skolens Don Juan.
He's the whole school's Don Juan
Og jeg er bare 15 år
And I'm just 15
Hun sier: Kom tilbake om fire år
She says come back in four years
Hun er forelska, men
She's in love, but
Det er ikke i meg
It's not with me
Hun er forelska, men.. Det er ikke i meg
She's in love, but it's not with me
Hun er forelska i lærer'n oh-oh-oh
She's in love with the teacher
Forelska i lærer'n oh-oh-oh
In love with the teacher
Hun er forelska i lærer'n
She's in love with the teacher
Og ikke i meg.
And not with me
¹ Lit: happy, cheerful
² Lit: I get it not forwards
³ The double-negative works for style in English here (style in the loosest sense of the word; the style of an ignorant teenager).
⁴ Alternately, if this is "noe" instead of "nok", then perhaps "She thinks that I ain't nobody", again, double negative for style.
⁵ Lit: "half-long hair"; the guy in the video has a mullet, in any case. And looks a touch older than 20, for that matter.

Boten Anna (Anna the bot)
Jag känner en bot
I know a bot
Hon heter Anna. Anna heter hon,
Her name is Anna; Anna is her name
And she can ban you, ban you oh so hard¹
Hon röjer upp i våran kanal.
She cleans up our channel
I want to tell it to you that I know a bot
Jag känner en bot
I know a bot
Hon heter Anna. Anna heter hon,
Her name is Anna; Anna is her name
And she can ban you, ban you oh so hard
Hon röjer upp i våran kanal.
She cleans up in our channel
I want to tell it to you that I know a bot
Som alltid vaktar alla som är här,
Who always watches everybody here
And makes it certain there's nowt that can go wrong²
Det finns ingen take-over som lyckas.
There's no takeover that succeeds
Just remember it is I who knows a bot
En bot som ingen ingen annan slår
A bot that absolutely nobody can beat
And she can kick out on her slightest whim³
She does away with all the spammers⁴
Ja ingen kan slå våran bot
Yeah no-one can beat our bot
(Instrumental)
Then came the day I never thought would come⁵
Den satte verkligen kanalen ur balans
The channel really was completely out of sorts⁶
I never thought I'd ever been so wrong
Men när Anna skrev och sa
As when Anna wrote and said⁷
Jag är ingen bot
I'm not a bot
Jag är en väldigt, väldigt vacker tjej,
I am a very, very pretty girl
Which now is sadly very strange indeed for me
Men det finns inget som behöver förklaras,
But there's nothing that needs to be said now⁸
For in my eyes she's still a bot
Hon heter Anna. Anna heter hon,
Her name is Anna; Anna is her name
And she can ban you, ban you oh so hard
Hon röjer upp i våran kanal.
She cleans up in our channel
I want to tell it to you that I know a bot
Som alltid vaktar alla som är här,
Who always watches everybody here
And makes it certain there's nowt that can go wrong
Det finns ingen take-over som lyckas.
There's no takeover that succeeds
Just remember it is I who knows a bot
En bot som ingen ingen annan slår
A bot that absolutely nobody can beat
And she can kick out on her slightest whim
She does away with all the spammers
Ja ingen kan slå våran bot
Yeah no-one can beat our bot
¹ Lit: She can ban, ban you so hard
² Lit: And sees to it that there is no harm. By the way, "nowt" is a Northern dialectic word in English, from "nought" / "naught", nothing, with the same meaning. It fits the singer's style. If he were English, he'd be from Manchester, no question.
³ Lit: ...as she may
⁴ Lit: ...those who spam
⁵ Lit ...never thought existed
⁶ Lit: Then sat the channel really out of balance. This works in English semantically, but doesn't fit the meter.
⁷ Lit: But when Anna wrote and said. This actually works just fine in English too, but most English people would find it very odd, especially with the preceding slight pause in which they can lose track of the sentence.
⁸ There's no "now" in the Swedish, but I included it for the meter.

Evensen was the leader of a rightwing religious group here in Denmark which bought and knocked down a building occupied by a disorganized leftist group)
....
general comment: I have made some changes, but by and large you have caught the meaning quite well, and in several cases I'm actually impressed with your translations!
I'll let the native Swedes and Norwegians comment on the songs in their languages, but I have noticed with glee that you didn't fall into the trap concerning the word "bot" - which normally means 'boat', but not here (see this article)

Thanks for the corrections and background information! A couple of thoughts on some of them:
* red - This one was just a typo. I have the bad habit of making phonetic typos of homophones in (or even between) all languages.
* wing - Yes, I wondered about whether this ought to be plural, but it seemed like an oddity to me, since one would normally speak of wings in the plural, unless referring specifically to "a broken wing" or such.
* turning the nose - I think I misassociated "næsen" with "næsten", couldn't make a translation that worked as "almost", and rendered it instead as "next", given these are usually similar words in form and meaning.
* the one [song] about hyancinths - this one had confused me, thanks.
* have to go far away - thanks, the common omission of "to go" had slipped my mind, so I went with something that admittedly seemed unlikely in order to find meaning.

Well, an easier mistake to make if one doesn't see the title written down, as "Boten Anna" rather than "Båten Anna".
Surely an easy mistake to make though, especially with lines such as "Hon röjer upp i våran kanal" wherein "kanal" could easily be misinterpreted as the waterway - not helped by him singing this line in the music video while peddling a boat on a river / canal :)

Haha, I remember hearing that song back when it was all the rage -- 2005? -- and I had
no idea what any of that stuff meant; I honestly thought it was about those MSN bots
and then a bunch of made up jargon :p
"...men jeg får det ikke frem." - "but can't bring myself to say it" is sort of the
meaning behind that phrase here.
"halvlangt hår" - not necessarily a mullet. Mullet is actually "hockeysveis"
Apart from that I don't see any mistakes. Godt jobba!
And no, you can't be a teacher at 20. The youngest is 23 for teachers who are teaching
year 10 students.

Niels Hausgaard - Da jeg var i lære (normalized to rigsdansk)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?
v=BpPBbKmAbYw
I stood just outside the garage, changed the wheel rims of a Fordson Major
Slog mig selv over fingrene og råbte de forskrækkeligste ord
Hit myself on the fingers and shouted the most appaling words (= cursed)
The foreman came along, he had heard that I screamed (lit. "gave throat")
Hvad råber du for knægt? Hvad er der galt?
What do you shout for, boy? What's wrong?
Han så på min finger. Er det virkelig alt?
He looked at my finger. Is this really all?
And thus he told about [the time] when he was in apprenticeship:
For da han var i lære, da peb de dæleme ikke for så lidt
For when whe was in apprenticeship, then they didn't bloody whine for so little
He slit his finger and hit himself such that the blood was gushing out!
But he dried the blood with a rag
He didn't complain, never said anything
And had he done that, his foreman would've come out
and told about [the time] when he was in apprenticeship:
For da han var i lære da fik læredrengene nogen tæsk
For when he was in apprenticeship, the apprentices were beaten
And the back resembled a piece of striped pork (=whipped back)
But this didn't cause them any distress, this they got used to
They didn't think about complaining about it
And had they done it, their foreman would have approached them
and told about [the time] when he was in apprenticeship:
For da han var i lære da blev læredrengene nemlig slået ihjel
For when he was in apprenticeship, the apprentices were even beaten to death
And when they didn't die, then it was almost a fortunate coincidence (=they hardly ever
survived)
De mistede jeres (should be "deres" in rigsdansk) fingre og brækkede jeres (should be
"deres" in rigsdansk) arme
They lost their fingers and broke their arms
They toiled such as their back was harmed and paralyzed
And when they complained, the foreman got so angry
and told about [the time] when he was in apprenticeship.
But when I will be foreman, and this I have planned to become,
Oh, I will be so good towards the boys there in apprenticeship
Yes they will of course be taught to pitch in
Men de vil blivet snakket ordenligt til
But they will be spoken to properly
And if they won't be grateful
will I tell them about [the time] when I was in apprenticeship.
This would have been a lot easier to translate into German -.-
Please point out my mistranslations.

Just a tip-off for those learning Swedish who live in Italy – Sarnek, suzukaze: I’m thinking of you! ;-) – or passing by right now.
Tonight at 21.05 on the free-to-air TV-channel Top Crime, they begin broadcasting the Swedish series Wallander. Top Crime usually offers the possibility to listen to the original audio, so there’s the chance we may be able to follow the series in Swedish.
There exist three different Wallander series, two in Swedish and one in English. The title character has been portrayed by Rolf Lassgård, Krister Henriksson, and Kenneth Branagh respectively. The one starting tonight stars Krister Henriksson.

Sadly, no Danish/Norwegian song for me during last month. Maybe I'll try to catch up within a week or two (I've been very busy with Irish, Old Irish included).
The closest thing to recent Scandinavian studies is only a few days old, when I joined the local society for Gutnish. I've also started reading a story in the two living dialect forms.
