I'm glad that the exercises at EGS got shorter and changed the old layout of having a dozen of sentences for each of the Georgian cases. Now there are missing pages in the next lesson about numbers, but I don't think it's that important. Still, the other lesson is about the objective version. It will be a decisive opportunity for learning it. I'm not saying I won't have the chance to meet the topic again, but still I think the method at EGS worked the best for me and I hope it is enough this time.
At Le Petit Prince, a missing page at one of the final chapters. I read it in French and catched up later on the following chapter. I'm likely to finish it next week, then we'll see. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

This way, we can still work out a bilingual reading. Besides, sometimes the stories are inside some books and I couldn't figure out which books were those, as the titles don't always match. I applied to the fact that I was already late with other languages and decided to finish the long penultimate chapter at Le Petit Prince. Now I'm quite likely to finish it tomorrow. I have no idea what comes next, if not the textbook in Russian I already had in mind. At those final chapters I start to have a better comprehension of the sentences.
As for EGS, I managed to read the long lesson on numbers on a single day, too. That will leave me room for doing the exercises tomorrow and then starting to have the creeps about lesson 25 on objective versions =D 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

I finished Le Petit Prince! Time to update my French log as well.
I must say I had a glance at the first lines of Jules Verne's Voyage au centre de la terre, and the Georgian in there seems easier to understand so far, I mean, there is a plot. Still, I don't know if it will be my next book. I have another textbook waiting for me. As for the EGS, I managed to finish the exercises for the lesson on numbers. Tomorrow I need a fresh mind for the lesson on the objective person. I must say the German doesn't pose much problem so far. When a writer is better at explaining things, you get the point easier even on a language you don't understand as much. It's much easier to understand Tschenkéli's explanations in German than Aronson's in English. Information is hierarchized and structured at the Tschenkéli's book, yet it doesn't sound so linguistically verbose. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

And so we did =D I just finished the first lesson. I learned about 5 new Georgian words and a lot of Russian ones. I'm starting to get used to the Russian grammatical terminology. Like I said, the most useful think about this textbook will be the extensive number of sentences we find at each lesson.

Me too. I went over it a little yesterday, but I will go read it more thoroughly right now. I skipped a lot of the Russian explanation and just looked at the vocabulary. 1 person has voted this message useful |
