I could do that, but I also like to see the
list of everyone, and I don't look at my own graph or finished list much. :)

Just have to point out that it's unrealistic. I don't mean the ranking but the achievements. Unless you're already fluent in a language, it's nearly impossible to complete one challenge (especially a full one) and only then start another and also complete it (even a half challenge). That contradicts the "marathon" thing. You don't want anyone to attempt too much, I don't want anyone to think they can neatly divide the 20 months and complete one challenge at a time. I'm iffy even about "do the videos now and start reading next year".

I do multiple languages myself, but if all you do is log every little bit of study in every language you do, then there is no point.

I think anyone using the challenge to make significant progress is a winner, especially if they earned at least one star in most of their languages. Many participants will never earn a star, let alone complete a full challenge, even if they sign up with just one. Why single out those with what you previously called "five super failures"? (I know you weren't attacking me. I'm not attacking you either)

I suppose my main point is that you keep singling me out as one of the few who can do many challenges. But most people aren't learning that many languages anyway. Maybe I'm almost the only one who can do 8-10 languages, but many more people could do 4-5. Whether one goes for 2-3 full challenges or 4-5 half challenges should be a personal choice.

You misunderstood what Cristina wrote. It is not to be taken as sequential. You can be working on two languages, and the bot ranks you by best language. But when one language is complete, the bot then looks to your second language.

Interestingly, your quote from Cristina is almost exactly what surrealix implemented. So in fact he was right to have done it that way, and didn't need a lot of complaining about it.

Also, this does assume completing the challenges one by one. I'm on track with most of my video challenges but...
