Yep, you can count me as one who is annoyed and I am not English. You are entitled to your own opinions but if you hold these types of opinions, why go out of your way to offend people? It's one thing to say that you do not like a particular accent and another thing entirely to extrapolate someone's regional accent into a judgment on intelligence. You have placed your own value judgments upon your fellow countrymen's accents and on your fellow countrymen themselves by proxy. This is your second post? Stavanger Norwegian Baiano and Capixaba Brazilian Portuguese Bavarian German Brabantian Belgian Dutch Porteño Argentine Spanish St. John's Canadian English Dublin Irish English Geordie British English Every language has some nice accents and some horrible ones, so we should specify the dialect/variant. I think Ukrainian,Spanish and Italian are the most melodious sounding among european languages.
