გიყვარს საქონელი ხორცი? Do you like beef?
საქონლის translates as "goods". Is it necessarily related to cattle?

It should be "გიყვარს საქონლის ხორცი?".
საქონელი means both "goods" and "cattle", but I don't know how they are related.

Quote:
მსურს

It is produced from "სურვილი" which means "desire".
"ისურვებთ" is in future tense.

Quote:
და ორჯერ - მაიონეზით.

This doesn't make sense to me. It literally means "and twice with mayonnaise".
If the context is ordering two more meals with mayonnaise, it should be: "კიდევ ორი მაიონეზით" or sth like that.

book2

უნდა გადავჯდე?     Do I have to change trains?
Is it the optative or the conjuntive? I bet the word "trains" isn't in the Georgian translation.

Yeah it isn't. "გადაჯდომა" literally means to "change seat" and can be used in reference to transport change as well.

I haven't given a break other than the normal weekend, I just didn't have much (or anything) to write about).

Just like today: book2 has no doubtful sentences.

I'm still doing exercises for lesson 04 from Aronson. Wondering what will do next: either continue, or do the exercises from the army book (which fits more or less my level in terms of vocabulary) or retake Hewitt's, or all of those three, or two of those three. While I don't make up my mind, I keep doing book2 and reading/copying Aronson's exercises. What I've realized is that I can't continue doing only that: it won't improve my communicating skills.

I still don't have it clear about subjunctive. Not about its usage: I speak one language that seems to love subjunctive the most. I just wonder how many subjunctive tenses Georgian has and how they are formed.

Also, is there any books or websites with tables of verb conjugations, that can be quickly accessed?

I am having a hard time choosing my next learning material and now it just got worse - or better. I realized Google translator is far more reliable for Russian than it was two years ago. This means I can use any of my textbooks in Russian - all I have to do is OCR them and paste the Russian text there. Translation is instantaneous and good enough for me to understand the whole meaning of the explanation.
Now I have to choose among several books. I think I'm first going to check how far each of them would bring me, because some of them start with the very basics and that would just slow me down. I have to be sure that in the end I'll be way ahead from what I was with Kiziria, or at least will have reviewed the most important parts I am still unsure about.
