If I'm watching TV series that are 20min each episode, should I count two episodes as 1
film or should I wait till I complete 90 min?

@radioclare: A theatre play works just fine. Have a good time!
@ Expugnator: You can count 4 episodes as a film.

I wait until episodes add up to roughly 90 minutes, or I just tweet the actual number of minutes. For example, Les villages de France is about 17-18 minutes per episode. Last SC I tweeted it like this:
@langchallenge watched a #film in #french "Les villages de France (7 episodes)"
It was probably over 90 minutes, but I didn't want to get 90 minutes credit for watching less than 90 minutes.

Thanks for the replies.
I checked a few random pages of my ebooks and I have about 150 words per page in each case. I decided I'm going to count each as half of a printed page. For every 100 ebook pages read, I'm going to tweet 50. I could make a pro ratio (multiply by 150/250=0,6), but I feel it's more honest like that. And I also like to KISS. ;)
I also noticed that audiobooks should be filed as movies. I guess it makes sense, as it's easier to find a yardstick (in this case, it's elapsed time). It also suits me, because I have more books than films available.

Yeah, I usually just make the font large enough that it makes sense to count each page as half. It also depends on the format: PDF books retain their own page numbering, for example, and it's generally at least 1:1. I have some books where it's even 1:2, especially in scanned books.
Audiobooks with the accompanying text can count for reading.

Kerrie came up with a really cool idea: if you want to state any custom info, like your goal or level or whatever, before you start logging you can tweet it as 1 page read or 1 minute listened. If you've already started logging you can edit your very first entry to include that.

I love how Cristina suggests only one (or two) languages.
Serpent is signed up for 13 languages. (To be fair, English, Finnish, and Portuguese she is already fluent in, and she read 5000 pages in Italian and Polish last time around.) Still, wow! hehe
There are five other people who have signed up for more than three languages.
Sofije (7)
this name is (6)
Anna (5)
zombiecide (4)
Kerrie (4)
I will say - in my defense - that I have already done the SC in Spanish, so doing it again in Spanish will be much easier. And all four of my languages are closely related.
The rest of ya'll are crazy. (Okay, I am too, a little.) :D
Let the games begin! :)
(I know, it started a few days ago, but I was busy reading my first book in Spanish!)
No matter how many languages you are doing - one, two, or fifteen - I hope everyone makes lots of progress in their chosen languages!

Once i figured out what the "strange coincidence" was i burst out laughing.
Anyways, read my first french "book"! It was actually 94 pages once i scaled it and now i really want 6 more pages to
make it count for two. I'm kind of jealous of all those people who have actually had time to read lots this weekend,
but then again, i have 20 months to catch up =)
I did not know that movies only had to be "about" 90 mins. I can't decide if i'll switch to that or continue counting
everything in exact minutes...
