Surrealix, I would like to request that you add Hindi to the super challenge bot, please. Also, is it possible to register for two languages? Or do we just have one main language, like the 6wc?

It looks like people have registred once for each language they are doing.

Now I managed to register, but I did it wrong. I registered for the full challenge, but I want the duper with writing. Is it possible to change it somehow? Also, if by some miracle, I get a stable internet connection (and some courage) in the future, and want to include conversation as well, will I be able to change it then?

I wish I could master the French language in 6 weeks, but I think I would need a magic
wand for that.So count me out.Good luck to those who are up for the 6 week challenge.

Are we starting early for those that want to? I've noticed a few people already have books and films listed.

We're just testing out the bot and finding bugs and stuff. It will all be wiped before the challenge begins.

So about this bot thing. Does this mean we have to get a twitter account to participate. (I'm not a tweeter yet, and really never planned to become one)

You do not have to, but it makes it more fun to see at a glance where you are at compared to the others. I basically use my Twitter acount just for the updates - I do not send a tweet every time I've been to the store like I see some do:-)

I got the idea from a question I got the other day, when I was ecstatic about having finished my first real book in Russian, and was asked whether I felt comfortable reading in Russian now. I answered that I probably needed to read at least 100 books in Russian before I was comfortable reading in it.

And that one book in Russian that started this whole thing. Did you read it extensively or intensively or what? Can you tell us more about that particular experience?
