Kiziria is coming out with another book? Oh now I'm excited. Did she hint as to when she will be releasing it? I'm actually considering starting a "small" log for my Georgian to just catalogue the minimal progress I make with it monthly. I'm hoping you'll drop by to say hi once in a while :). Concerning your dog, I really am sorry about your loss :(. Losing an animal like that is a traumatic experience. Teango and Ruski, thanks for your kind comments. I'm missing my old boy terribly, and of
course the Georgian has been completely neglected for about a week. However, life goes on, and it's time to jump back on the hamster wheel. Ruski, I'll be keeping an eye on your Georgian log and pushing you along (gently, of course!) to make sure you don't neglect your Kartvelology. Isn't that the best word ever? Awrite mate :) არაფრის :) სტ. ენდრიუსში ვსწავლობ მეორე წელია, შოტლანდია უკვე მეც ძალიან მიყვარს. აქცენტს რაც შეეხება, არ არის ადვილი მაგრამ მომწონს და ნელ–ნელა ვეჩვევი. ისე გლაზგოური ნამდვილად გამოირჩევა სირთულით. 1 person has voted this message useful | ||||||||||||

ენდრიუსში, მაგრამ მე მგონი ეს ძალიან ლამაზი ქალაკია. რას სწავლობ იქ? მე ვისწავლე რუსულ ენას და გერმანულ ენას გლაზგოში. ძალიან სასიამოვნოდ იქ დრო გავტარე. ახლა კი ვცხოვრობ და ვმუშაობ იაპონიაში. მე მაინც და მაინც არ მაინტერესებს იაპონია და მირჩევნია აღმოსავლეთ ევროპისა და ყოფილი საბჭოთა კავშირის ქვეყანების ისტორია და ლიტერატურა და კულტურა, მაგრამ აქ ცხოვრება ადვილია და კმაყოფილი ვარ. ENG (for those that are interested): St. Andrews? That means you are very clever! I've never been to St. Andrews but I think it is a very beautiful town. What do you study there? I studied German and Russian at Glasgow. I had a very happy time there. Now I'm living and working in Japan. მადლობა :) სტ ენდრიუსი მართლაც ძალიან ლამაზია ქალაქია და უნვიერსიტეტიც ძალიან მაღალი დონისააა. მე მედიცინას ვსწავლობ, პირველი სამი კურსი აქ და სამი მერე მანჩესტერში.
მიხარია რომ, საქართველო და ქართული ენა გაინტერესებს, იმედი მაქვს რომ ჩახვალ კიდევ უფრო მოგეწონება. I'll follow your example - ENG for those who are interested: Thank you :) St Andrews is very beautiful indeed and the University is of very high quality. I study medicine, first three courses here and three more then in Manchester. I am glad that you are interested in Georgia and Georgian language, I hope that you will like it even more when you visit it. ...

I am so glad you made this log! I have been learning Georgian for a month but I feel like
I'm nowhere near the level you were at after one month. It's probably because the only studying I've done is from Beginner's Georgian (great book by the way!) and I'm only on the sixth (or seventh) dialogue. So far I can only say very basic things and I barely know any verbs. For example today I was talking to myself in Georgian and I got excited because I knew how to say "we have tea." zecchino, thanks very much for the message. It's always nice to hear from other
Georgian learners. I remember it took me a good few months to get through Beginner's Georgian so it sounds like you're doing OK. I would suggest getting hold of Georgian: A Reading Grammar next. Beginner's Georgian is a great book, but you will be surprised how much grammar Kiziria leaves out. გისურვებთ წარმატებებს! დიდ ხანს არ მიფიქრია გადასაწყვეტად :) ბრიტანეთში უმაღლესი განათლება მართლა ძალიან მაგარია. ჩამოსვლამდე რა თქმა უნდა ვიცოდი ინგლისური, დიდი ხანი ვსწავლობდი ბავშვობიდან, ისე როგორ ვისწავლიდი უნივერსიტეტში ინგლისურად :) თანაც მედიცინას. უნივერსიტეტის დამთავრების შემდეგ კიდევ ბევრი საფეხურია სანამ სრულყოფილი ექიმი გავხდები, მინიმუმ 10–11 წელია მაქამდე, საბოლოოდ კი რა თქმა უნდა საქართველოში ვაპირებ დაბრუნებას. ...
რატომ გადაწყვიტე შესწავლა ბრიტანეთში?
