OK, so, I won't be able to make it this Sunday (again, ack, sorry!).
I know, I know, I keep pulling this disappearing act. I apologize. What happened this time is that I stupidly didn't account for the time difference and didn't realize that I'll still, in fact, be in-air for part of the day on Sunday. By the time I clear customs and stumble through Moscow traffic, it'll already be 8 or 9pm. :/ Would Sunday, June 3rd would for everyone, instead? I firmly pledge to be 100% present at that one. No one, not the mafia, not Chechens, nor even the FSB, will be able to stop me. Unless a member of one of them happens to be reading this message and shoots me before then, of course. However, in that case, I'll arise from the dead and greet you all in my new zombie form. Well, hello again, everyone!
I'm reporting from Team Sputnik's homebase...Moscow. There are quite a large number of expensive cars here...Mercedes, BMWs, Bentleys, etc. As we were driving around today, we spotted the man below. We got a real kick out of it, so I thought I'd share. Thankfully, he didn't spot us taking his photo!
