Oh well, of course I hope it's a bit better from the outside than it feels from the inside (because it's how it is with other people and I know it), but I can tell you that, for starters, I generally hate being on the phone (and I don't mean that I simply dislike it, I just f****** hate it, I border the pathological in that area). As you can imagine it's an uphill struggle from there...
Didn't you notice how I'm immensely more cheerful and 'talkative' when typing, or face to face (well, you couldn't -- but Cristina knows that it's so)? ;) Anyway, as I said, I'm confident I'll be able to do it as easily as drinking water -- some time, over time. If I managed to get some credentials, I can manage to live up to them some day, can't I? @Mrwarper: You did just fine!
I was scared to death when I first started out doing Skype sessions, and I am an extrovert chatterbox. It takes a combination of feeling comfortable with the people you talk to and getting used to speaking it, so even if you speak the language fairly well, you still can get nervous. We can do a couple of two way Skype sessions if you like - just so you won't get nervous next time :-) 1 person has voted this message useful | |
