I have a question for the team:
There is supposedly a quote from Pushkin, which says that in the same way he did not like a red mouth without a smile, he did not like Russian language without gramatical errors. I have searched for it on the web, without success.
I'd appreciate if anyone could give me information about it.
See you tomorrow in skype session!

There is a young moskovite that has been kind enough to read my log, his name is Mark, I asked him if he would like to join our team, I think he would be a very valuable asset because he is a Russian native speaker.

Although our team is in principle already bursting at the seems from so many members, I would personally welcome Mark, if he is interested, I cannot speak for the others. In addition to him being a native speaker, he has an interesting perspective on things, and I enjoy his posts, so I am sure he would be a great asset.
My only fear is that I am scared straight as it is, knowing that a bunch of people will hear me speak/attempt to speak Russian. A native speaker might paralyze me alltogether :-) There is however no reason why my personal anxiety should have any bearing on this, so if he would agree to join us I am sure we would all benefit from that. Good initiative!

As far as I remember, this is the context: Pushkin writes that pretty girls cannot express themselves in their native Russian as effectively as in French (the language of correspondence, high society chatter, etc.), but he does not mind because their beauty makes their bad grammar charming.
