Oh, just a 'normal' conversation. Sounds excellent, yes -- not seeing one other person's face while talking is bad enough (unless I know him/her in person so I can more or less imagine his/her reactions), but when it's two (or more) faces you don't see, I'm never sure several of us won't start speaking at the same time when the other one stops.
That alone drives me nuts -- I have a tendency to interrupt people when talking (it's partly a cultural thing, partly a family idiosyncrasy), and that may be annoying enough in person, where it can be controlled (or negotiated, in SLA neospeak), so I don't really want people rambling on everyone behind my back about how I always interrupt everyone... and then, there's all the other stuff -- as I said this will take time. But I'm patient :)
Edit: sorry Fabricio, didn't see you were about to post ;)

I actually find it quite soothing not to see the people I talk to - or rather that they do not see me. The first time we did the Skype session I spent an hour curling my hair and putting on make up (the fact that it was New Year's Eve and that I was going to a party right after it may of course have influenced it) whereas today I was sitting in a comfy PJ, without the trace of make up on).
Skyping is something you get used to. But it is tough in the beginning. The good news is that you have now done it a few times, so you are already over the worst :-)

By the way, I looked through the team threads for 2013, and a lot of them seem to want to copy our Skype idea, and the Asian team even quoted us twice as inspiration. How neat is that :-)?

Before the team sessions I had tried Skype exactly once. By (no?) coincidence, with Miss Russian Beauty to be precise, only in 2008 or something like that. My father had totally thwarted my laptop audio config, though, so we gave up after thirty seconds and I was hardly ready for anything -- For our first session I even shaved (you'd never tell from my Skype avatar uh? ;) before joining in and discovering that multiple video-conferencing was a premium feature and we were doing audio only.
I haven't got used to using the telephone yet, so I still have some reservations about Skype. That, however, is because of how untimely phone calls are most of the time. I have one friend with whom I actually talk on the phone sometimes, precisely because we schedule our conversations (pretty much a need if you're about to talk for 5 or 6 hours) and that (the scheduling) is something I really loved about our proposal for meetings.
WRT to other teams, well, I tried to promote the idea in Team い (that's Japanese "i" for all non-members ;P ) because even if I have my issues with it I can spot a good idea without the need for it to come and bite my low back :)

Fellow Sputnikers, this year's journey has come to an end. It has been an amazing year, and I could not have
wished for better team mates. We have Skyped (a lot of us), met (some of us) exchanged ideas (all of us)
quarreled and joked, we have helped each other on in good times and hard times, lifted each other up when
we have needed it, nagged each other when that was appropriate and most importantly of all: A lot of us have
made it to the end and we have learned lots of Russian.
I must admit that it is with actual tears in my eyes that I say : Go team Sputnik! - for the very last time.
However I am happy to see that many of us have continued together on a new team, and in addition we have
been joined by lots of eager new TACers, so I will say like they do with the kings:
Team Sputnik is dead - long live team Mir! And a big thanks and a huge Norwegian bear hug to you all!
Cristina

You don't hug bear; bear hugs you! ;)
Here's a little Russian classic to play out the end of a glorious year together in Team Sputnik, and welcome in 2013 and Team Mir!
"Александра" (from the movie "Москва слезам не верит").
