Thanks for the encouragement.
I haven't done much these first three days, but now that I only have three finals to study for, I'll have more time to study now to the 10th. -- I have been trying something new for me, which is listening to a short podcast in Korean and Japanese four times. First and third times are while reading the podcast's transcript, and the second and fourth times are without. I've only tried it a couple of times, but it seems to have worked a little bit by the fourth time I listen to a podcast, and I don't memorize the transcript, so I think it helps with general listening and getting used to the sounds of the languages more. I think during this month, I need to learn all the grammar I can. It's frustrating not knowing the grammar Koreans use when they chat with me. That's why 98% of the conversation is always in English.
For my progress, my week will be Mon-Sun. Korean Vocab Today: 20 words This week: 42 This month: 42 Left: 1456 Scriptorium Today: 39 sentences This week: 76 This month: 76 Left: 564 Korean Class Beginner Season 4: Listened to podcasts 2-3 Japanese Vocab Today: 0 words This week: 15 This month: 15 Left: 485 Scriptorium Today: 13 sentences This week: 32 This month: 32 Left: 268 Kanji Today: 0 kanji This week: 0 This month: 0 Left: 1000 Japanese Pod 101 Beginner Season 1: Listened to podcasts 77-79 And today, I watched episodes 22 and 23 of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2ND GIG, and watched some performances on Music Core. Man, I missed 소원을 말해봐 performances, and was glad SNSD performed it today. Got a lot of work ahead of me, but I know I can get it done. Did my repeated listening on one podcast of Korean and Japanese each, this time five times. First and third while reading the transcript, second, fourth, and fifth without the transcript. I'll probably keep doing this for the rest of the month just to focus on listening, not understanding. I really don't plan on tackling kanji until tomorrow, but after the 10th, I'll go "hardcore" on them. Cutting today's time short because I need to prepare for my accounting exam that's tomorrow morning. Well, I watched episodes 24-26 of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2ND GIG, and episode 3 of Atashinchi no Danshi. Around two hours or so of TV. For Korean, I watched episode 4 of Invincible Youth and listened to podcasts for an hour, some of it passively while I was practicing some math problems. I did chat with a Korean on Shared Talk today, and while it was mostly in English again, what little Korean I used was correct. I remember when I first started, aside from the "X is Y," sentences, I was using things incorrectly. Still not having much like trying to contact Japanese people on that site. I decided that my goals were too number oriented and decided to learn as much as I can, not limiting myself to what my daily average should be in learning. Plus, I need to practice output a lot more, and with the high number of vocab and kanji I was going to force myself to learn, I wouldn't have time. Knowing me, I might still end up around those initial goals I had anyway. Cut the studying short because I'm preparing for two exams. Wednesday probably won't look good for studying. Nor Thursday. XD

Listened to a lot of music yesterday too, especially Amuro Namie's Love Game. If Japanese CDs weren't so expensive, I'd probably buy her new album... I listened a lot today, as I was taking breaks this morning studying for my history final, and after my history final, I had three hours before my calculus final.
