Yeah. I've watched the MV around 30 times today. Doesn't come close to SNSD's Oh when it first came out. Oh yeah, T-ara will also have their 'comeback' this week.

About Hello Baby, it's a series where an idol group takes care of a baby. Season 1 was SNSD, season 2(current one) is SHINee.

Did you see Star Dance Battle on the 14th? The gagmen did T-ara's Bo Peep Bo Peep. Funny stuff there. Bo Peep Bo Peep (?)

I do need to get back to studying (I still do a little everyday,) but there's so many shows I like in Korean, not to mention all the dramas I'm watching. XD Spring break starts next Friday for me, so I'm hoping to get stuff done then...I said that during Thanksgiving break but watched East of Eden because Lee Yeon Hee is hot...

In all the clips I saw they were just playing with toys and there was no baby in sight. {shrug} I've not seen a full episode or anything, though.

No, I didn't...I'll have to check that out.

Argh, two new songs from T-ara came out. I think the MV should be out tonight or tomorrow. And then music shows Thursday through Sunday. Well, better study more now I suppose.

Studying is going to be tough for me now that T-ara, KARA, and SNSD are performing now. And March is the month of comebacks for a lot of other singers/groups. XD

Anyway, I've been keeping up with Korean well, but with Japanese, it's mainly vocab. I need to catch up on the kanji (and probably review them a lot more than I'd normally have to.)

Spring Break officially started for me at 11:30 and lasts until next Sunday. I have a lot of time, subtracting the time I'll be playing Final Fantasy XIII, to study and do things in both languages. I plan on cramming a lot of vocab and kanji, while also reviewing a lot of the older stuff everyday, so I think after the week and a half is up, things should be a bit easier. Just a bit.

Studying's been going well and now I'm watching more dramas (and variety shows in Korean) raw. Don't understand much, but I realized with subs, nothing was improving except a word a drama.

On the kanji front, I planning to get done with RTK 1 on April 30. Funny how things work out. Aim to do 80 a day and I do 30-40. Aim to do 20 and I do 0. So, everyday from now on, I'll aim to do 100, and as long as I get the 30 a day, I'll finish on time.

Starting tomorrow, I'll probably start reading a couple of articles on Newsen or any site (I just prefer to read Korean entertainment news) and make it a habit, reading for comprehension at the moment instead of trying to understand every single word and structure. I think that'd be beneficial when there are less unknowns.

Well, back to watching A Good Day For The Wind To Blow. (Kim So Eun is hot...and I learned there are a lot of other actors/actresses I like in this, so I'll be watching.)

I used to be a skeptic of "videos that are [native language, in my case, English] subbed are more harmful than helpful." I now agree. I've been watching a daily Korean drama and I can understand 20-30% of it, compared to around 5-10% I was understanding watching subs. Maybe it's just that in daily dramas, it's much easier to hear the dialogue compared to variety shows, but I'll keep this up, because I do think it is helping a lot. I'll make the move to watch raw videos (or at least ignore the subs) in Japanese too, hoping that it'll help my awful Japanese.

I've noticed that when I watch a video that has English subtitles I'm bad to ignore the audio completely, so I can see how that would be true.

In addition, some fan-subtitled videos have translations that are questionable at best, so those videos are definitely worse than ones with no subtitles. Even at my low level in Korean, I've already run across some videos where I found myself saying: "Huh? That's not what he/she just said."

However, if you are planning to make multiple passes of a video, then I believe there is still something to be said for the "English subs (professional ones, of course) with first pass then Korean subs or no subs on subsequent passes" method.
