I mainly watched Time Between Dog and Wolf today and TaeHeeHyeGyoJiHyun. I'm mainly figuring out a plan of attack on how to learn a lot faster than I am (scriptorium works great, but it is a slow process.) I will continue using the scriptorium, but I'm also going to use the method I was using during the summer, just read the textbook and example sentences so I can learn more in a shorter amount of time, and my review will be when I catch up via scriptorium.
I also spent a lot of time with Korean music today. Today (yesterday in Korea) was the SBS Gayo Daejon, and since I am a fan of Kpop, I watched some of the performances. The guys doing the girls' songs was hilarious, and my favorite performance was SNSD's Genie remix.

The last post on page 4 are my numbers for the month. I didn't learn any new vocab or kanji this week, nor did any scriptorium practice. I read my textbooks a little bit, but mainly watched dramas this week. I started watching daily dramas in Korean, and those aren't subtitled, so I'm only understanding 5-10% for now. Since the shows are so long, I'm hoping by the time I'm done with them (they are quite long), my comprehension will improve much more. With Japanese, I started watching Dragon Zakura (because Korea's version starts next week, and I'm really anticipating it) and I'm almost done with Atashinchi no Danshi. Most of my free time was spent on allkpop pushing F5 as I waited for the videos to come in for the big three year end specials in Kpop.

I spent more time with media than actual studying these three days.

Now that I'm finally done with Dragon Zakura, I can get back to studying, but I start school tomorrow. Anyway, with Korean, I finished Continuing Korean (reading through it, not scriptorium.) Now I'm moving onto Korean Grammar For International Students, and I plan on going through that in around a month (reading and reviewing, scriptorium later), and the same with my Japanese grammar and text books. I think my goal for the first third of the year is to increase my passive knowledge as much as possible, start working on my active knowledge more in the summer (I'll still be doing more passive learning,) and working on everything in the fall.
Anyway, I'm thinking of making this a weekly log. I don't want to do the numbers game for everyday.

Hi,
just started my log today and wanted say 'Hi' to mthe rest of Team C. My languages are Japanese, Korean and French. Korean is my weakest language (still struggling with the Hangul), and Japanese my strongest (over three years of self-studying, around JLPT2).
I like your systematic approach to studying and the detailed number that you`ve recorded so far. Very motivating and inspiring to see how other people attack such a task like learning several languages at once. I have more of a scattershot-approach where the methods and techniques change on a weekly basis.
I`m a huge fan of J-Doramas, less of K-Dramas. Mainly because Korean Dramas are so long (and I prefer Korean films to Korean TV-Dramas, the opposite is true when it comes to Japan). My favourite Drama is Korean though (Resurrection/Retribution). A Korean Dragonzakura may be worth a watch.
Looking forward to read about your progress in Korean and Japanese.
To a productive and successful 2010 for all language learners around the world. 頑張りましょう!

Aside from the usual, I'm back to chatting with Koreans more often on Shared Talk and MSN, and one of the people I was exchanging emails with finally replied back. Can't really blame any of them, since most were/are busy.

Do you find it easy to understand Koreans online?
