I'd like to do an experiment. Do you think we, speakers of Romance languages, would be able to participate in a thread mixing our languages?
I personally can't understand written Romanian very much, but French, Portuguese, Corse, Italian, etc., are really easy to understand.

Ca doit être possible si on ne s'écrit pas en romanien. Moi, je comprends sans problème l'espagnol, le catalan, l'italien et le portugais écrit.

Me gusta esta idea. Creo que es una buena forma de comparar los idiomas y ver algunas de las diferencias.
Nunca estudei francês e mesmo assim entendo algo. Não entendo nada de romeno quando eles falam, mas escrito é um pouco mais fácil. Os demais são bastante mais fáceis.
Spero di poter parlare e scrivere in spagnolo, portoghese, Italiano, e francese entro un paio di anni.

Questo é un’ottimo idea! Stavo pensando di fare un thread come questo qui. Anch’io posso leggere francese, spagnolo, Italiano, portoghese, catalano, e probabilmente altre lingue romanze di più. Penso che sia un buon’idea d’identificare quale lingua scriviamo in inglese alla fine d’ogni post (Italian).

Es una buena idea. Podemos practicar todos las lenguas romances al mismo tiempo y puede ser una buena introducción a cualquiera de estos idiomas (Spanish).

La veritat és que a mi m'agradaria aprendre portuguès, francès, italià, etc, però penso que obtindria un coneixement pràctic de la llengua més ràpidament si la llegeixo que si n'estudio les conjugacions, etc.
Què en penseu? Per aprendre, per exemple, portuguès, quina seria la manera més efectiva?

Começa com a pronúncia, depois pega livros e lê, assiste a televisão, escuta qualquer coisa no internet, etc. O método é igual para português que para as outras línguas. Sabendo já espanhol e catalão, o português seria fácil demais. (Portuguese)

Estoy de acuerdo con el método de Felipe pero pienso que sea necesario aprender las conjugaciones. Sin embargo, pienso que sería muy fácil. Por ejemplo, por español/italiano:
En español: verbos terminan en “ar” “er” “ir” y en Italiano terminan en “are” “ere” “ire”
Además, la mayoría de los verbos son muy parecidos, por ejemplo:
Essere = Ser
Stare = Estar
Avere = Haber/Tener
Andare = Ir
Potere = Poder
Fare = Hacer
Sapere = Saber
Dare = Dar
Parlare = Hablar
Amare = Amar
Además, los tiempos de conjugación son muy parecidos. Ve:
