Kara just released their Japanese album and it had a Japanese version of Lupin in it.
Yeah, Hwayoung is in Hello Baby 3, so I'm assuming they started shooting Dream Girls before they decided to acknowledge her existence.
Oh, 2 Different Tears. Worst WG song ever (imo.) I think they made that song in 15 minutes, knowing Korean Wonderfuls would eat that up since WG had been gone for so long.

I've found myself wondering if Dream Girls wasn't made very recently at all. Not only is the new member missing, but in the clips at the end of episode 1 (the clips with 효민 + 신영 and 효민 + 선화) they are wearing winter outfits and 선화 starts singing "I Want You Back" at one point, not "Magic" or "Madonna" like she normally does on various shows. I almost wonder if this was originally filmed in late 2009 or early 2010 instead, since that would have been Secret's only single at that point. Unless just those clips at the end were just old clips (in which case, why were they even there?).
Yeah, I did notice that the lyrics on the Korean version of 2DT didn't seem to flow quite as well as the English version, so I already had my suspicions that the English version was probably the original version. I still like the song, though. {shrug} "Tell Me" is still my favorite Wonder Girls song, by far, though.

No, it is recent, since in the latest episode, it showed Jiyeon filming for Jungle Fish 2. They probably wanted to train Hwayoung some more.
(T-ara - Why Are You Like This?)
Hwayoung seems to be the third rapper. Unlike her sister Hyoyoung, who's supposed to be a supporting vocalist.

For WG, Irony is my favorite song from them. Love it.

No more studying or anything. Gotta repeat T-ara's song some more.

The funny thing about "Tell Me" is that I originally thought it was a 소녀시대 song as they were the first group I ever saw perform it. I wondered why I only found that one performance of that song then later discovered that it was a special "song swap" they did on Music Bank where Wonder Girls performed "Kissing You" on the same show.
Sadly, hearing the Wonder Girls perform "Tell Me" wasn't quite as good as the SNSD cover, partly due to the fact that 소희's singing is a bit off in that song. Her pitch control wasn't too hot in Nobody, either, but she sounded perfectly fine in 2DT, so I wonder if she got some extra vocal training during that time (or maybe she just had a vocally simpler part in 2DT). The album version of all those songs sound good, though, so obviously studio magic helps...hehe

Very true, but most of them can at least maintain pitch. Even the worst members of most K-pop groups are usually still passable as singers (maybe not great, but at least decent). If you want a prime example, find the video of Wonder Girls covering "줄래"...now *that* was a painful video to watch as two of the three were noticeably off-key (three members covered that song and the other two covered a different song, which I can't recall at the moment).

To be honest, the only singers that piss me off are Sohee and Qri, but I know that both are in their groups for looks alone. Hell, Qri could be a model, and she practically is. Ever see T-ara's online shopping mall? I think she's in most of the pictures.

Haven't done as much as I wanted the past few days. I blame T-ara's song for being so addicting.

To be honest, I hadn't really paid much attention to Qri until Dream Girls started. Any comments on her Japanese ability from episode 1?

I haven't done anything with my 한국어 or español decks lately (other than reviews), but the Hanja deck has gotten quite a few new entries recently. I've added 19 or so in the last few days (I usually add 한자 in *much* smaller groups than that) and have several more in the queue to add. I'm not sure why...I guess I've just been in a 漢字 mood lately.
