It's about 50/50 at the moment. Some sentences I understand all of it or just need to look up a word or two, even if I don't know all of the grammar. Other sentences...I ask for a translation. With the emails, they write in English and I (try to) write in Korean.
--
Today, I spent some time on Shared Talk, and about 60% of one of my conversations was in Korean. I'm slowly being able to use more of the grammar I learned in Continuing Korean. I was talking to a Japanese person, but that was in 100% English. I need to fix that.
Watched Chuno episode 1 with subs. It. Is. Awesome. Watched Invincible Youth episode 9 subbed (watched ep 13 raw yesterday.) Also watched the Jo Kwon/Ga In parts of We Got Married, and for Japanese, I continued with Nodame Cantibile.
Now that I know how I need to prepare and study for my college courses, I think I'll be able to spend more time studying...until Lee Hyori, SNSD, etc. make their comebacks in the next couple of months.

Hm, today I also chatted some in Korean. Still simple one liners, but I can't rush it for now. Doing these numbers really help me, because I need to cut down on the entertainment part a little bit and add more studying. Yes, the entertainment is a big reason for learning both, but it's not helpful going in without knowing anything.

I tried something I haven't done for a while, and this is learning vocab by rote memorization. Yes, you can "learn" more faster and in a shorter amount of time that way, but the next day, I can only remember 20% of the words. I tried this for a few days, reviewing more than I normally do, and decided it just wasn't working. I thought it would work because I realized that even if I remember a word the next day, I won't remember it a month from now because I hardly review. So I'm just gonna stick with mnemonics (until I learn a lot more kanji) and actually review vocab everyday.
Aside from that, I'm starting to get addicted to Jdramas like I was with Kdramas last year.

I don't think I'll get much done this week.
1) I have three tests next week. Then I think two more the week after.
2) The main reason, Girls Generation is having their comeback. That's much more important to me than any kind of studying, school subjects or languages.

As long as you have your priorities straight...hehe
Is there a new album/mini-album coming out or are they just going to be performing a different single from the existing mini-album?
EDIT: Nevermind...apparently it is a new album (a full one, this time).

Oooooh.. you naughty naughty boys drooling over GG.. :P
It's nice to see Korean learners who are into Korean culture.. but it's slightly embarassing when they happen to know more about Korean contemporary culture than I do... and I'm supposed to be a Korean! XD
