Made it to the test miraculously. I'm sure I more seed the natives with
my ability to misunderstand the public transportation system. I had
to ask for help twice and was seriously thinking I might miss it.
They're telling us we will be kicked out if our cell phones make any
noise so I'm about to turn mine off.

This time is different than with the N4. I was answering stuff on the
N4 and not even understanding the meaning a lot but that's much
less the case now. However, I am guessing a lot. Go figure. The
listening is next. I'll be glad it's over.

Done. The last part of the listening section kicked my butt. I think I
may be doing jlpt N3 again next year.

Posting in the middle of a JLPT test, there should be a special thread for that,
something like "You know you're addicted to HTLAL when ..." :-)
Anyway, sounds like the written parts went well.

I guessed a lot. I narrowed the answers down each time but it wasn't too often where I was 100% sure I
had it. I ended up posting here because I didn't have anyone to talk to this time. There were a couple
middle school kids sitting near me and a lot of empty seats. I guess a lot of people chickened out.

Oh this year the test was split up so we got each section separately when we did it. So I couldn't put a little
extra time into the reading section by finishing the other sections early.

Ugh, that stinks. Splitting it up made it harder for you.
I've never taken a JLPT. I would freak out.

I was just a little disappointed. Since its the same for everyone i
don't really mind.
For the rest of this month I'm going to switch up my flashcard
reviews. I made a ton of grammar cards from the courses i took and i
barely touch them spending all my time on vocabulary instead. I'm
gonna reverse that. When it's time to talk my grammar is too rusty
and it's annoying. I'm pretty much ok in terms of passive listening but
not so much when talking. So i won't do any vocabulary reviews until
the grammar is done. And I'll be adding new cards for the grammar i
get from JOI.
