Finally starting on my worksheet packet for chapter 2. We were given it on Tuesday but I'm just starting it
today ;/. It's not due until 11/7 so no worries but I like to get it out of the way. Right now I'm doing the section
on giving and receiving... what a pain! And they use these verbs for the to do for someone or to have
someone to something for you structures... 面倒い. Have to get fluent in it soon somehow lol (or I look bad in
class).

The packet for this chapter is taking me about twice as long as the 1st one did. Some stuff like the giving and receiving made me actually look at the book to better understand it. It's annoyingly hard. There's some creative responses too. I'll have to have the tutor check them to see if mine make sense - I used some words I have never seen before. Here's an example:
犯行はいたるところであるんので大きいハジ キを買っておいた方いいでしょう。

I switched out ハジキ for 🔫 I mean.. 銃.(whew I got that into my iPad without it crashing)
Not sure what's the deal but since iOS 6 my iPad 3 crashes Sarari/email when I use the romaji Japanese
input method. That little picture of the gun popped up as a kanji alternative on the input screen... jus
thinking.. with modern technology they could redo their alphabet to make it really true pictograms lol.

Is that a gun? From here it looks like a Klingon letter.

LOL. I guess you might need an iOS or apple device to see it then. How disappointing.

Heh, Apple uses stuff that can't usually be rendered by devices of non-Apple origin?

Interesting. I'm using Firefox on my Windows machine and I can see the gun... although it looks a lot different and well I might not know it's I gun if I didn't already. I have Safari on my PC too (never ever use it but it's there). Booted it up and you cannot see the gun at all. It's a ロ or something instead. Oh well. On Safari on iOS it's a neat little cartoon looking gun. And I think it would be interesting if someone replaced kanji pictographs with actual cartoons that looked like something to everyone XD.

I can see a gun too if I zoom in enough, but I have to zoom in quite a lot. It looks like some kind of space age disintegrater gun like Marvin the Martian might carry.
