Examples of unabridged authentic literary texts for zero beginners. I prepared them for speakers of Polish.
German-Polish:
www.stultorum.pochta.ru\aaaa\AndersenD-linchen (t_ int).7z
www.stultorum.pochta.ru\aaaa\GrimmFROSCH (t_inter).7z
French-Polish:
Le petit p. by Saint-Ex.
www.stultorum.pochta.ru\aaaa\LppF-Pd-TrGr.7z
And here's a little something for adventurous minds:
English-Spanish:
www.stultorum.pochta.ru\aaaa\RB-AH PofPhil.7z
www.stultorum.pochta.ru\aaaa\Wilde - AH The Picture of Dorian Gray.7z
German-Polish:
www.stultorum.pochta.ru\aaaa\Kafka-NP_Proces.7z

The Spanish text needs proofreading. Any volunteers out there?
If you happen to have any e-texts (Japanese???) of the novel, let me know, I'll make them parallel.

You wouldn't happen to have an English/German 1984? I adore the book and I have the German audio book.

Why don't you make it yourself? You can't count on others all the time.

To atamagaii
Why spend time making it yourself when someone else might already have a copy and all it takes to get it is to ask?
The problem with making it yourself is, you don't know the language. So you don't know if what you're making is accurate or not. A prudent person tries to find ways to maximize their efforts. Asking for something which already exists is such a way.
If you're wanting audio's done of existing writing - say long articles or whatnot - as well as trying the network of people here, remember the freelance websites like elance.com will help you find someone to do a reading. You provide the text and they'll read it for you.

I can’t access any of the file extensions to access all of your books. Does anyone know offhand what program I need to download to read the above files?

WinRAR should suffice for the archives and MS Word for the .doc files, actually...
