Looks like that's my summer planned then!
LANGUAGE: Italian CHALLENGE: 100 films and 100 hours of speaking practice; I'm not a big reader, and my goal is above all to converse well, so 100 books just isn't going to happen; if this disqualifies me from the Challenge then let me know, that's OK. CURRENT LEVEL: Between A2 and B1 (my knowledge and understanding is probably the latter, my speaking the former). COMMENTS: "Speaking" will obviously include conversations, but also study activities that focus on speaking like self-talk and shadowing, as I found these very useful for improving my French conversation ability. The Challenge fits in nicely with my TAC goal for Italian, which is to be able to converse well by the end of the year, and so I'll use the same log. 2 persons have voted this message useful | |||

Challenge: Japanese: Half German: Half Current level: Japanese: I would make a wild guess at B2, I'm preparing to take JLPT N2 this upcoming July. German: More or less a complete beginner. Have done some studies last year, but nothing significant. After some impulsive thinking, I've decided to join in with 2 languages, doing a fair split of 50 films and books for each language. My hope is to get the spur needed to start up my long-desired German study, while I continue working with my Japanese, which I hope I will reach basic fluency in by the end of this year. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||
