UPDATE
GERMAN MOVIES
1. May 1st: Lola Rennt (I give it an 8/10)
2. May 2nd: Vier Minuten (*thumbs down* 4/10)
3. May 5th: Alles auf Zucker! (Pretty funny movie, 7/10)
I've seen Lola Rennt a bunch of times before. It's been a favorite of mine since I first saw it. First time watching Vier Minuten and Alles auf Zucker. I thought Vier Minuten was pretty boring. Alles auf Zucker was good, but took a while to get going. The second half of the movie was really funny.

I have a lack of imaginative things to write about so I've reverted to keeping a diary of >200 words a day in both languages. I will eventually move on to writing film reviews in L2.
I am not at the point where I can use any other language for work.
I've seen someone (from here) writing fairy stories.

I wrote my first essay today for the challenge. I don't think it is very good as I don't have a good knowledge of
grammar or structure yet, so I've basically grabbed the dictionary and looked up the words I wanted to use. I
put it on my blog as well as lang-8 as I want to get feedback on it. http://lang-
8.com/395415/journals/1462446
I have now got 2 films, 1 book and one essay.

Hello, I'd like to register to start with Japanese! My language study has been dormant
for a little while now and this looks like a really fun and useful way to get started
again in my learning. I'm going for Japanese since my kanji knowledge has started to get
off the ground a little. I start today!

Is there going to be an official 'closing date' for entries? - I hope not.
