Lunch (~45 minutes)
Listened to Assimil New French with Ease (Lesson 1 - 18 once, 19 - 25 twice)
- I haven't covered lessons 24 or 25 yet, but it provides a useful comprehension exercise. I'll hopefully check later to see how much I understood.

Evening
Michel Thomas Advanced French CD1-7 to CD2-4 (~1.25 hours)
- Lot's of revisions, and some new material. I'm convinced the advanced course has grammar points that weren't taught on the Foundation course, but which Michel refers to as if they were.
Assimil New French with Ease (Lessons Completed 23,24, and started 25) (~1 hour)
- Ploughed ahead with more Assimil lessons last night. I was happy to discover that I'd understood correctly a lot on my lunch earlier.

French
French Grammar and Usage - Adjective positions in relation to the noun. (~20 minutes)
- An interesting section on adjective positions in French. It seems that English has kept both meanings of a number of adjectives, but can no longer distinguish as French can.
E.g. un pauvre homme - Poor man, a person who is pitied. Like the English, "Aah, the poor thing" said in consolation.
un homme pauvre - A poor man, a person who is not rich.
Hungarian
Assimil Hungarian with Ease (Units 2-7 once) (~15 minutes)

Weekend Summary 06/06/08 - 08/06/08
- Like most weekends, I didn't get as much done as I do during the week, but this was still a better weekend than most.
Michel Thomas Advanced French CD1-10 to CD2-17 (~3.5 hours)
- Did these in 3 separate sessions from 1 to 1.25 hours each session.
Watched "Hotel Harabati\De particulier à particulier" (~1.25 hours Cultural - Not TAC)
- This was one of the hardest films I've ever tried to follow. It felt like the writer decided to remove most elements common to films, such as exposition, narrative and resolution. In trying to decipher the plot I picked up just a small bit of French.

Michel Thomas Advanced French CD1-19 to CD1-24 (~20 minutes)
- Didn't get to do anywhere near as much as I wanted. It seems what bonus time I gained on the weekend, I lost at the start of the week. These language Gods giveth and taketh away it seems.
