Hungarian
Listened to FSI Basic Hungarian 1 (Units 2-1 x 2.5)
- Drilled this again, but I didn't get a chance to look at the notes, so there was a small bit of vocabulary I didn't remember. I might do a few more sessions of the first dialogue, and really master the material.

Evening
Spanish
Assimil Spanish with Ease - (Active Wave 22, Completed Unit 68, Started 69) (~1 hour)
- Didn't get a chance to revise any of the earlier units, but completed 68 instead. This was a long unit. I moved onto unit 69, which was titled, "Falsos amigos". Apart from largo (long), oscuro (dark) and vaso(glass), there didn't seem to be that many. You can tell the lesson was originally intended for a French audience, as exprimar (to squeeze) resembles exprimer (to express) in French.
Listened to Assimil Spanish with Ease - (40-68) (~1.25 hours)
- Got to the very end of 68, but didn't reach the new lesson about "falsos amigos".
Barrons Vocabulary (~1 hour)
- Started a couple of new lists, and revised an earlier one. I stumbled on the earlier list when the words were very close. E.g. cultivo (cultivation), cultiva (cultivated).

Morning
Hungarian
Read Teach Yourself Hungarian (Unit 4) (~20 minutes)
- Revised all of unit 4, and managed to spot a couple of items I missed before. For a language like Hungarian, I prefer when the sentences are broken down, as they are in FSI Hungarian. The FSI courses are probably mind numbing for simpler languages like Spanish and French, but ideal for non-IE languages.
Listened to Teach Yourself Hungarian (Unit 3-6) (~20 minutes)
- Did the same session again. I might revise lesson 3, and then move on a track. The material isn't sinking in as readily as other courses, even compared to Assimil Hungarian.

Lunchtime
- Didn't get to do any lunchtime study, with the rain keeping me indoors. I'm hoping this weather doesn't last the whole day, or it will impact the evening session as well

Evening
- Didn't get much study done, as I've been asked to mind two houses while people are away on holiday. This is going to affect my study for the week.
Spanish
Gramatica B1 Intermedio (Anaya\ELE) (Completed Unit 21, Started 22) (~1.5 hours)
- Completed Unit 21 which covered the use of como, porque, and por qué. The contruction section was easy, but the "como se usa" was difficult. Unit 22 covers the use of "si".
Russian
LIYC Russian 1 (1-2 to 1-3) (~15 minutes)
- On my journey to the two houses, I squeezed in this short session.

Hungarian
Read Teach Yourself Hungarian (Unit 3) (~20 minutes)
- Decided to skip back and cover unit 3.
Listened to Teach Yourself Hungarian (Unit 3-6) (~20 minutes)
- I should probably skip on a track soon. I'm starting to miss Assimil Hungarian, as it has no English dialogue.

- I think I'm going to cover this tape until I can practically recite it. This may be over kill, but I want to produce the Hungarian automatically.

Evening
- A with the previous evening, I didn't to do as much study as hoped. A demented cat meant I couldn't get my usual walking and listening session. House minding and language study do not mix well.
Spanish
Gramatica B1 Intermedio (Anaya\ELE) (Unit 22) (~1 hour)
- Did a few more exercises off this surprisingly long unit. Some of the exercises allow a very broad choice of anwsers and this makes it hard to correct. E.g.
Si _____, baja las persianas.
There isn't a list of options, so you fill in the blank with whatever answer seems appropriate. The answer was "hay demasiado luz".
Listened to Teach Yourself Spanish (Units 7-9) (~15 minutes)
- This was the listening session that was cut short.
Barrons Vocabulary (~1 hour)
- Did a few more lists covering parts of the house such as antepecho (window sill), despensa (larder/pantry), and terreza cubierto\portal (porch).
