Evening

Spanish

Gramatica B1 Intermedio (Anaya\ELE) (Finished Unit 24, Started Unit 25) (~1 hour)
- Finished off the first of the units on the subjunctive. The exercises didn't test all the material covered in the grammatical explanations. Unit 25 is more on the subjunctive.

Listened to Teach Yourself Spanish (Unit 6-16) (~1.25 hours)
- Decided to give this course another listen, as it contains some useful and functional phrases. E.g. Unit 12 "¿A qué te dedicas?"-"What do you do?". This phrase is obviously at the A1 Spanish level, but it hasn't cropped up in Assimil yet, while the MT course would use "¿Qué haces?".

Teach Yourself Spanish (Unit 17)(~45 minutes)
- Read the unit, and did a number of the written exercises. The exercises seem really easy, when compared to those in the Gramatica.

[EDIT - Very very tired today, so some posts might have trivial errors]

Morning

Hungarian

Read Assimil Hungarian with Ease (Unit 18,19) (~20 minutes)
- Do to the aformentioned lack of sleep, the material wasn't sinking in at all. I'm finding Unit 19 quite difficult.

Lunch (~45 minutes)

Russian

LIYC Russian 1 (1-8 to 1-16)
- I think this single track skip ahead is really working. On the earlier tracks, I can say the Russian before the speaker, and later, my attention is focused on the the new track at the end.
- As I was walking through a busy part of town, I didn't realise some Russian speakers were walking right behind me. I picked up some of their conversation, but not before they heard me reciting Russian. It was embarrassing.

Evening
- Only managed a very short evening session. I didn't manage to fit in any of my normal late night study, when things quieten down between 00:00 and 01:30.

Spanish

Read Read and Think in Spanish. (~45 minutes)
- Did a quick read again, on some of the audio featured articles.

Listened to Read and Think in Spanish. (~15 minutes)
- I wasn't watching the battery, and the MP3 player died after 15 minutes on my walk.

Morning

Hungarian

Read Assimil Hungarian with Ease (Unit 15,19) (~15 minutes)
- I was slightly rushed this morning, so I only managed to skim over 19. I think I'll need a good bit of time to unpick this lesson.

Listened to Assimil Hungarian with Ease (Units 15-19) (~20 minutes)
- Unit 19 is also made more difficult because the dialogue varies in volume depending on the speaker. Yep, my favourite speaker is on this track as well.

Lunch (~35 minutes)

Russian

LIYC Russian 1 (1-9 to 1-15)
- Had to take a call in the middle of this session. This was a bit of a distraction.

Evening

Spanish

Assimil Spanish with Ease - (Active Wave 25, Reread 71 Completed Unit 72,73 Started 74) (~45 minutes)
- Did units 72 and 73 very quickly, and they seemed a good bit easier than some of the earlier units. I can't decide if some Assimil units are very surreal, or if the translations are a bit off. They did translate, "en el fondo" as basically, while the dictionary gives "deep down" which seems closer semantically.

Listened to Assimil Spanish with Ease - (55-82) (~1.25 hours)
- I might progress a unit soon.

Barrons Vocabulary (~45 minutes)
- The estimate for this is a bit rough, as it took place over two hours but in company, and with the television on. It covered more hardware. E.g llave inglés-wrench, destornillador-screwdiver, herramienta-tool.

[EDIT - Extremely tired again today, so there might be a couple of typo's in these posts.]
