Evening

- Didn't get to do my usual walk covering French and Russian, so I ended doing a lot more Spanish.

Practice Makes Perfect Spanish Vocabulary (Exercises 1.7-1.9) (~2 hours)
- Spent a lot longer trying to learn the vocabulary than do the exercises. A lot of it's still quite US-Centric, and would be easy for someone who grew up in the United States. I suppose most European publications wouldn't give the Spanish for Racoon - El Mapache.

Read and relistened to Assimil Spanish with Ease (26-30, Completed 31, 32, and started 33) (~1 hour)
- Decided to read the lessons, then listen to them, and move on a couple as well.

Morning

Read Assimil Hungarian with Ease (Units 8-10) (~20 minutes)
- I'm getting slightly confused by some of the grammar rules. "Munkahelye" translates as "her workplace" but work is just translated as "Munka", and the translation seems to imply that work and workplace are synonymous. I might ask this in the forum.

Listened to Assimil Hungarian with Ease (Units 5-10) (~15 minutes)

Lunch (~45 minutes)

Listened to Assimil Spanish with Ease - (Lessons 11-33)
- Tipped onto the start of 33, with 31 and 32 twice. Skipped ahead a track from yesterday. I might keep doing this to cover more new ground.

Evening

French

Michel Thomas Advanced French CD4-16 to CD4-18 (~20 minutes)
- I've pretty much completed this course. I may return to revise it at some later date.

Russian

Michel Thomas Advanced Russian CD1-3 to CD1-13 (~1 hour)
- When I get to walk in the evening, it will be all Russian for now. This course moves at a slightly slower pace than the French, but hopefully will pick up speed later.

Spanish

Read Assimil Spanish with Ease (12-22,24,26,28-30) (~1 hour)
- Reread a number of different Assimil lessons. I'm skipping around between lessons, so I'm not accustomed to the order I originally did them in.

Morning

Read Assimil Hungarian with Ease (Units 5-6) (~15 minutes)
- This time around I concentrated on the spelling, and the different accented vowels, of which there are a LOT. E.g.

e é i í ö ő ü ű a á o ó u ú

Listened to Assimil Hungarian with Ease (Units 5-10) (~15 minutes)
- Tried concentrating on the different vowels, and shadowed Units 6 and 7 in realtime. As I was walking a very busy street I got a couple of stares, so I just pretended I was on a mobile call.

Lunch (~45 minutes)

Listened to Assimil Spanish with Ease - (Lessons 12-34)
- Ended up listening to 22-24 twice, as I lost my place. Skipped 25 and did the dialogue of 34, which I haven't covered yet. Got most of it I think, as it was all about the colours. On a side note, it was bucketing down, and even with an umbrella I got soaked. Fingers crossed that I can do my usual evening session of Michel Thomas Advanced Russian.

Evening

Russian

Michel Thomas Advanced Russian CD1-4 to CD2-3 (~1.5 hours)
- This course is picking up speed, and covering the pefect\imperfect in all three tenses.

Spanish

Read and relistened to Assimil Spanish with Ease (32, Completed 33, 34, and started 35) (~45 minutes)

Cultural

Jamón Jamón (Bigas Luna) - Watched this rather odd Spanish film from the early '90's. Mi novia informed me that the two leads, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem were dating relatively recently. They look so young in this film.
