I am so impressed by your log! You are really a shining example to the rest of us both in frequency and content. Keep up the good work!

Don't want to eat, don't want to sleep, not much studying is getting done. Trying to
prepare for that other uni exam but no matter how much I try, there isn't enough getting
through to me.

I guess we're back at square one, again. We just ignore all the mental impulses that make
us cling to the past, remove them, and we do what we have to do. Iron will.

Surprising news, this, maybe, but: I have started a little bit of wanderlust to enjoy
myself. So I have spent an hour tonight immersing myself in Swedish pronunciation!
Vowels, consonants, tone and stress, the whole thing. Now, I have yet to attempt any
formal study of Swedish, but I have a good Germanic background so many Swedish words
are passively very transparent to me, despite me not actually being able to write or
speak Swedish.

However, after tomorrow's exam, I plan to change this, and really do some Swedish
myself before I start Hebrew. I just want to have fun, see how far I get with FSI and
be inspired. Currently I need to let Swedish do that, not Hebrew. I need something
easy, simple, and distracting.

I have also found that Swedish is easy enough for me to pronounce (there are a few
sounds I have trouble with, but it's all just practice anyway). Swedish should be good
fun!

I've also caught up on my Assimil and have finished lesson 75 of the active wave. I am
still making mistakes here and there because Assimil translates too figuratively. Oh
well. Not to worry.

J'ai aussi continué à lire l'Étranger. J'ai lu jusqu'à page 40, si je me souviens
correctement.

I have started doing unit 1 of FSI Swedish. I have gone through the dialogue several
times and done the dialogs, as well as practice A. I'm spending tonight creating a
wordlist for the unit up until the end of the dialog, using Iversen's method (but without
the folding; instead I draw pencil lines).

Swedish is fairly easy so far in terms of vocabulary, but then that's something I
expected regardless. I like Swedish!
